#SavedByFaith
“It's actually harder to get into college these days than it is to go to heaven. Do you realize that? All you have to do is believe. You don't have to take an SAT. Thank God. You know Yeah. We would not be getting it. But you don't have to do anything tough. All you have to do is believe. And so in Romans 10, like I said, for whoso ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That day when I got into the car, I had exercised every single thing that I could possibly have exercised on this earth that I felt like could have helped me. And so I cried out to God and I said, God, don't don't even want my life right now. Truly, just being very honest with you. You have it.”

#HeIsRisen
“And so what Jesus did is he came down on earth, fully man, fully God and he gave up his life as a sinless A pure, spotless, sinless man and he gave up his life and he sacrificed his life on the cross to pay for every one of our sins. Every one of our sins. And we know that all we have to do is to just believe in him. Believe that he died for us and three days later he rose from the grave and the bible tells us that we will go to heaven. That's it.”

“That day when I got into the car, I had exercised every single thing that I could possibly have exercised on this earth that I felt like could have helped me. And so I cried out to God and I said, God, don't don't even want my life right now. Truly, just being very honest with you. You have it. That was almost a year ago. It was about a year ago, to this day actually. And here we are. But that day I got saved. And within a few weeks, that eating disorder that I told you that I'd been struggling with week by week, pretty much every three, four days for ten years, gone. A lot of other pieces of my life that were not good for me, Gone. And again, it's nothing that I've done but everything that he's done for me.”

#AskAndBelieve
“If you're here today and you have not chosen true good, you know we talked before about changing the conversation. How it is our heart posture and our heart then reflects on our speech and how we act. If you don't know today that you are going to heaven when you die, a 100%, Just ask God. God, would you reveal yourself to me? Lord, I don't know enough about you to get saved yet but just reveal yourself to me, Please. And he is faithful.”

#DailyCrossChoice
“And so at the end of the day, we just need to choose Which is it gonna be? Are we gonna choose that sweet water? Are we gonna choose the bitter water? And this is not just a, at the end of the sermon, motivation, I'm feeling good. I'm gonna choose good. It's a daily thing. It's a daily surrenderance. It's a daily choice to choose good, to choose Jesus. And so Luke nine twenty three tells us that if any man would follow Jesus that we are to deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily and follow him.”

#SalvationPaysItAll
“Meaning that whoever cries out to the Lord, whoever surrenders their life to the Lord will be saved. Saved from what? Saved from everything that is opposite to God. God is an all good, all knowing, all powerful God who, since he made the world, he made the rules. Fair enough. And those are all good rules, good laws. But everything that is opposite to that is evil and sin. And so when we get saved, we get saved from the payment of sin. Now the payment of sin is death because God is life and the opposite of God is death. And so in the same way that if we go and we break the law and we speed 20 miles per hour over the speed limit, we're just gonna have to pay a fine. It's a very similar concept here where if you do something against that law, then there's a payment for that. And the only person that could pay that fine for all of us is Jesus Christ.”

#CryOutToGod
“just sort of all this stuff that I'd been thinking about that had happened that day just sort of overwhelmed me. With the business deal, not knowing what to do with the future, not knowing how to speak to Grayson because I was like, sorry dude. About the apartment, the eating disorder, feeling very, very hopeless. Like I don't know. I just don't know. And for the first time in my life, I chose true good. The bible says in Romans 10, that for whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved. Meaning that whoever cries out to the Lord, whoever surrenders their life to the Lord will be saved. Saved from what? Saved from everything that is opposite to God.”

#WordsHavePower
“And so James is again, he's getting to this point where it's it's just even though our tongue is a tiny little piece of our body in proportion to the rest of it. It's like if you just light a cigarette and then put it in the fire or put it in the forest. You know, within five, ten, fifteen, twenty minutes, that tiny little spark that you had, it's gonna turn into a whole for the forest. And I think there's this idea that like sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me. But I think there's a lot of people in this room, myself included, that can think back to a time where someone said something to us. And we can think, that actually really did hurt hurt me. And it really did affect me even up until today. You know, there are some places that we will not go. There are some people we will not talk to again because of the words that they said to us.”
