It's very easy to hit all these topics and have a list of things we want to talk about but I think what happens in the church is we get excited about all those topics and we don't go back to what's Central and that gets us in a lot of trouble. [00:39:43]

I thought for this session without jumping to another topic I'd like to go to like what is the most important thing to us as human beings. It's this connection to Jesus. It's the fact that we know Jesus and to have it, I mean for me I feel a lot like in John 6 where everyone's leaving Jesus. [01:09:06]

I was like I can't see Jesus clearly in all of it and I felt exactly what you said that sometimes how is it that Christianity is Christ and yet somehow like Jesus can get lost in it all. But it took me back to one of my earliest experiences of evangelism in the UK. [06:03:36]

I think it's just really about being good, it's about morality so I kind of tried to gently say well actually like it you know it's that's not really it but then this other person said well I just find it so offensive how exclusive it is about saying you need to use this. [06:41:41]

I love that you it sounds like you had that same Desiring you that got to put in you as a child just to be open uh to that um but it's funny you mentioned that Lisa because Philippians 2 was the one verse I had to open this morning was thinking about what do I what I love. [16:36:00]

I remember was it Richard Dawkins I think you know debate with um John Lennon's about you know Christianity Dawkins as an atheist or analysis Christian but uh Dawkins was reflecting on the resurrection and the crucifixion he said and he said about it it's so petty it's so trivial. [17:48:42]

I was just thinking about you know in Matthew where where Jesus says unless you change and become like little children you can never enter the kingdom of of heaven and it was just this beautiful image of Raphael just the first thing you want to do in the morning was to run into the room. [10:57:36]

I was thinking how hard it is sometimes for many people I think just to be affectionate towards people and so my heart is feeling like oh I hope that people would realize how much strength there is in in verbalizing their affection to Jesus even like affection and also I'm thinking humility. [12:33:36]

I was thinking about that last night and then I woke up this morning and I felt like it was a real gift from God the way that our son Raphael as you guys know who's three three years old the way he greeted me this morning he came bursting into the room opened the door and he goes Dada I love you. [09:14:19]

I was thinking well you know um Jews Devon signs and Greeks demon wisdom but we preach Christ crucified you know stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles but to Those whom God has called the power of God and the wisdom of God but somehow that the power and the wisdom of God. [18:25:56]

I was just thanking God going Lord like you guys were saying I need you God I've seen too many people just lose their love for you but there's something you've done in my life and I'm just asking you to keep it going for the rest of my life I want you to stay at the top. [36:16:20]

I feel like you know Joe you mentioned kind of a culture I think we're I think we're a culture of upgrades you know we think incrementally you know I I have the iPhone 11 now I can get the 12 now I can get the 14 and I think sometimes we we think of our of faith that way almost. [38:43:44]
