Mary knew that when you have Jesus on the inside, what seems like a problem to others is not such a big problem for you. When you have Jesus on the inside, that experience of knowing Christ in me, the hope of glory, we can look at situations where other people say, this is not going to work. Woe is me. There's no way out. We can walk in and say, just do whatever he tells you. [00:56:23] (25 seconds)  #GreaterThanEnoughInYou

Because he is able to do exceeding abundantly more than you could ask or think. And so for all of you who walked in today in a situation where you feel you don't have enough, where you feel that you are not enough, I agree. You don't have enough and you are not enough. But he who is in you is greater than he that is in the world and he is more than enough. [00:56:48] (20 seconds)  #BrokenInsideButJesusHeals

And in this big problem, I'm making jokes, but I know that you are going through tough stuff. I know that people in the church are going through some rough times. Oh, and you dress up properly because it's a wedding. We have to look the part. And we have to go and pretend like we're happy for everybody, but we are broken on the inside. And you've come to church today. Yes, we thank God for 25 years. But I know some of you are hurting so bad. Because what you thought was going to feed you, what you thought was going to sustain you, what you thought was supposed to give you joy, you've run out. But there's a Jesus in this place. And this Jesus is able to do it. [00:58:12] (40 seconds)  #OrdinaryVesselsExtraordinaryPurpose

Ordinary jars. Ordinary jars. Ordinary vessels. How many ordinary people are in church today? Looking around thinking, yeah, that person's got a good job, but I'm just ordinary. That person looks good, I'm just ordinary. That person has a happy family, I'm just ordinary. That person has a ministry, I'm just ordinary. The ordinary things have a part in the story. [00:59:31] (27 seconds)  #OrdinaryPeopleExtraordinaryGod

But we trust a special God who can take people like you and me and make us a part of something that each and every one of you who has attended this church for however long has a testimony of the day Jesus did a miracle for you. Of the day that there was a word for you. Of the day when you came in empty. Of the day when you were not enough but he was more than enough. Of the day when you walked in not knowing where to go, what to do. But ordinary you with your ordinary life met a special supernatural God. [01:01:51] (36 seconds)  #BuiltOnGraceNotPersonalities

``One day, in this church, when all the stars fade, and all of our names fade into the background of what is bigger than us, one star remains. One star remains. The pop stars will go. The politicians will go. As the light starts to break, every single person, every single star will fade. Jesus will remain. And that is the message of the church today. [01:04:38] (35 seconds)  #ChurchIsSafeEvenWhenHurt

That if we make Jesus the center of it all, and if we put aside our differences, and if we put aside our opinions, and if we do what Mary instructed them to do, do whatever he tells you to do. Because you can't fix anybody's problems. You can't look. All we can do is say, Oh, shame. Oh, shame. Sorry that you're going through this. Oh, I wish there was something I can do. It's so bad. Tell me if there's anything I can do. But if we say, Lord, we lift up our hands as empty, ordinary vessels. And Lord, that you would pour out of us something special. That when every name fades, and when every person fades, and when all of us are nothing but a name on a slideshow that people remember for years to come, Jesus still stands. The hope of humanity. The hope of audience. The hope of Yisipingo. The hope of beyond. [01:05:12] (50 seconds)  #JesusIsTheReasonToCelebrate

Because when it stops being about Jesus, and it starts being about man, we've failed. Shut the doors. Switch the lights off. Never come back. But if we say it is all about Jesus, and if we make him the center of it all, look, you're not always going to be happy in church. I'm here. How can you be happy all the time? You're not always going to like everything in church. You're not always going to like everybody in church. [01:06:09] (29 seconds)  #PlaceForTheBrokenAndGrateful

And if we say, I'm not coming for the musicians. You're getting better. And if we say, I'm not coming for the biryani. I'm not coming for the boys. I'm not coming for the girls. I'm not coming for my friends. I got problems and nobody can help me. I need Jesus. When Jesus shows up in the celebration, we have something to celebrate. Because if there's no Jesus, there's no party. If there's no Jesus, there's nothing to celebrate. [01:07:13] (34 seconds)  #HonoringThoseWhoRanTheirLap
