In my sermon, I discussed the various activities and events that are taking place in our church community, Menlo's World, in the month of October. We are continuing our Explore God series, which will culminate at the end of the month. This will then lead us into the kickoff of our Menlo 150 celebration, a significant milestone as we celebrate our 150th year anniversary. I encouraged everyone to register for this special service, which will be held later in November. In addition to these, I also mentioned our spiritual formation retreat happening in mid-October, and the upcoming baptisms in November, encouraging those considering baptism to seize this opportunity.
Furthermore, I highlighted our end-of-the-month event, the Trick or Treat Extravaganza, and expressed my excitement about the numerous activities happening in our community. I ended the sermon by asking the congregation what they were most excited about, fostering a sense of anticipation and community spirit. I look forward to seeing everyone soon and participating in these events together as we continue to grow and celebrate our faith.
