The answer to every question. When you need truth, he is the truth that makes all other truths come true. When you need peace, he is peace in the middle of your anxiety. Whatever you need, Jesus is. He's not a solution. He is the solution. He's the lord of glory. That's who Jesus is. John got not information. He got revelation. And when you know him more and more, everything else in life falls into place. [00:14:35] (35 seconds)  #JesusIsTheSolution Download clip

And when John writes the gospel that bears his name, do you remember what he says? He says, a light shined in darkness and the darkness could not overcome it. Can I tell you even in dark places, even in places where it seems that the kingdom does not have a chance, that's where God does his best work? Never give up on God even in dark places in your life. Why don't I quit? I don't quit because I know that it's not an if, it's a when. And so therefore, if I quit, I don't receive what I know God is going to do. I need faith and patience. When you understand who God is, you don't quit because you know it's just a matter of time before God shows up in your life. [00:28:17] (26 seconds)  #ItIsWhenNotIf Download clip

John was exiled there to silence him, to isolate him, to erase his influence, to make his voice never heard again. The cave was not intended to be a chapter, it was intended to be the conclusion. But Patmos didn't end John's assignment, it clarified it because it was on Patmos that Jesus handed John the pen. The enemy thought he was writing John's final sentence, Jesus was getting ready to dictate the next chapter. [00:30:12] (30 seconds)  #PatmosWasPreparation Download clip

The cave couldn't stop John. The cave couldn't silence John. The cave couldn't cancel John. The cave grew John. It prepared John. It positioned John. But the cave couldn't keep John because the cave, listen, does not have the final say. The cave does not have the final say. Do you know who has the final say? Jehovah has the final say. I don't thank God real talk. I don't thank God for every cave. I don't thank God for every pain that I experience in life. I don't glorify hardship, but I do thank God that every cave provides me with an opportunity to know Jesus more than I knew him before. See see John didn't just get an answer, John got the answer. He got Jesus more and more and more. [00:17:12] (28 seconds)  #CavesRevealJesus Download clip

That's why John the Baptist, he said this, I said, I'm he I must decrease that he must increase. Moses said, Lord, let me see your glory. This has always been the mark of great men and women of God. They don't crave platforms, they crave presence. The cry of their heart is not an easier path in life, it's a clearer vision of who Jesus is. And this is the shift that can take place in the cave. [00:16:44] (28 seconds)  #CravePresenceNotPlatform Download clip

God's not going to waste this cave experience. I'm going to get everything out of this cave that I possibly can. I'm not going to rush the cave and miss the encounter. Want more of Jesus through every situation I have in my life. And this is something that we have to settle in our heart, that every cave that I go to, I'm resolving. I'm gonna know Jesus more than I knew him before. [00:19:19] (27 seconds)  #NoCaveWasted Download clip
