#FocusOnHer
“``Don't you say that at home? Don't you speak about it with your children? Even to yourself may not stand up on the pulpit to say it to everyone, but we say at home. And Jesus bringing that and saying, do not focus on me now. I want you to focus on this woman. I want you to focus on this lady. The scripture is very picky in picking up her terminology. She was shouting from the deep of her gut. I need some help. My daughter is tormented. And even if we can't get the food on the table, the crumbs that is falling from the table, we will eat it. We will accept it if it's going to help us to stand and to have the healing that we need. She is fighting back the system of isolation. She is fighting back the system of separation. She is fighting back the culture that keeps people separated. She is fighting back for her miracle and her daughter's miracle. She's fighting back for life.”

“She is fighting back the system of isolation. She is fighting back the system of separation. She is fighting back the culture that keeps people separated. She is fighting back for her miracle and her daughter's miracle. She's fighting back for life. And Jesus stands and says, woman, great is your faith. Let it be The shift here is not on Jesus. The shift here is on this woman, on her face, on the outsider. By the way, they may not have been spoken in the same language, maybe needed an interpreter or a translator for that time. She may not have even spoken in the same accent that everyone understood.”

#WelcomeTheOther
“How would I welcome someone whom the nation call an enemy? Don't you say that at home? Don't you speak about it with your children? I want you to focus on this lady. The scripture is very picky in picking up her terminology. She was shouting from the deep of her gut. I need some help. My daughter is tormented. #ChurchAsHome
“When someone comes in you for the first time in our church, is it easy to get in and to know each one of us and feel like, oh, this is a home for me? I don't care about the numbers. I don't care about how many are here, but this is my home. I feel the spirit is calling me to it. May God open up eyes. May God gives us a carriage. May God help us to stand at this jarring moment knowing that Jesus is pushing up to challenge not the outsiders, not what other people are saying, but to challenge what the ideas, perceptions that we have adopted on us that may hinder us to see what God is calling us.”
