And we start to get angry and upset, and we might be tempted to walk away hurt and angry or disappointed, but but that might be you because that's not her.”

That God had promised the messiah to come through Israel and Jesus might be they ultimately reached the world. Yes, that's the mission. Through Israel, God will reach the world, but we haven't gotten to the crucifixion and the resurrection and Matthew's great commission that he'll record for us in Matthew 28. Right now, Jesus isn't this wandering miracle worker who's fixing everybody's problems. He's the savior on the world and on a mission to redeem the world, working through the people of the house of Israel. As the Romans passage we heard this morning reminded us first the Jew and then the Greek, it's going to be for the entire world. But right now, right now, it's the house of Israel.”

And when you see a child suffering, I mean, you can't turn away from that. Right? You look at that because you know something's wrong about that situation.
