#RepentanceNotJustAdmission
“Acknowledging your wrongdoing isn't the same as repentance. Here's what I mean. Let me I want you to think about this for just a second. One second. I'm not gonna make you think more. I want you to think about this. When I say you're a sinner, I want you to think about the first sin that pops into your mind. Now for the believer, though, that sin that pops in your mind is the thing God wants you to work on. He wants you to surrender it to him. He wants you to walk in obedience with him. And for those of you that aren't believers, that haven't put your faith in Christ, haven't haven't started that relationship with Jesus, that is the sin you need to start with in repentance.”

#CarrierNotFollower
“Some of us take Jesus. We put him in our pocket. We carry him with us everywhere. We go, oh, I'm a follower of Christ. No. You're not. You're a carrier of Christ. That's not the same thing. Mhmm. I have a cross around my neck. Doesn't mean I'm living for Jesus. As I hate to tell you this, but there's people out there that do some really nasty things in this world to wear crosses around their necks. So that doesn't mean anything.”

#YouDontDeserveHeaven
“I want you to think about that for a second. Do I deserve to go to heaven? Now if you make the mistake of most people and you compare me to other people, you might go, well, yeah. I'm way better than that guy. But that's not the way god determines the ability to be able to be in his presence for all eternity. He sets the condition. So I'm gonna answer your question. The answer is absolutely, unequivocally I have done nothing worthy, nothing that earns me, nothing that gives any requisition recognition to me. I have done zero to give God any reason to say that man deserves to be in glory for eternity.”

#GraceThroughHolySpirit
“Grace has to be defined separately. Grace is not anything you do. It is the power of God upon your life to walk in a righteous way when you are a follower of him. In other words, you receive the Holy Spirit who gives grace. The Holy Spirit gives grace. Well, you can't have grace if you don't have the Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit is received by a person who comes to faith in Christ, and then through that, the holy spirit conforms, moves, pushes.”

#ChristianCredentialsFollowChrist
“The credentials of a Christian is a follower of Christ. Submitted up to the authority of Jesus in their life. Saved by the blood, bought with a price, they're not their own. See, that's one of the reasons why you hear pastor say all the time, you don't get to follow Jesus and do it your way. That's not how this works.”

#MakeJesusLordOfYourLife
“You have access. So the question is if you have access, you have all the things you need, all the tools you need to make Jesus lord over your life, why haven't you? Maybe it's your will. And one of the things that I see play out in the hearts of men I I can't speak to women because I'm not a woman. I'm a man. And so I I I I can speak a little bit more directly to this. We tend to have a struggle with pride. Oh, you know, I I I I I'll figure it out. That's called pride.”

#JesusWillingSacrifice
“But we have to understand the power of Jesus is that kind of power. Mhmm. And and he didn't go to the cross because he was forced to the cross. He went to the cross willingly despite us being sinners.”

#TrustGodWalkAway
“You say, but that's impossible. I don't know how to walk away from that. I'm I'm glad you admit that. Because if you did, you would have, and it wouldn't be a sin on your list. So why don't you start trusting God to help you walk away from it? Why don't you hand it over to him and say, I'm done. It's yours. And then start being obedient to it. Praying. Now I've heard people say, oh, I I don't pray for myself. Why? I pray for myself every day. In fact, sometimes I get a little embarrassed of how much I have to pray for myself. But I need him.”
