#GospelFamily
“But see, the the gospel is bringing us into a family that we wouldn't have built ourselves. The gospel's bringing us into a kind of life that we would have never imagined to build for ourselves. The gospel is building a group of people that we would have never built for ourselves. Look around you. Would you have ever chosen to be in church with all these people in this room? You can laugh at that because sometimes we drive each other crazy. Right? And sometimes we're just made up of people who are just really, really different from each other. But the gospel brings us into a family we wouldn't have built ourselves.”

#UnityInChrist
“And we engage in these acts of unity and these acts of reconciliation, this ministry of reconciliation because... Not because of a democrat agenda or a republican agenda, not because of a DEI initiative, but because it is the gospel of Jesus that every nation, tribe and tongue, will one day bow before the throne. And it is the work of Christians to say we are brothers and sisters. We share one Holy Spirit. We have been saved by grace through this blood of Jesus.”

#GrowTogether
“Cornelius has an incomplete theology, but so does Peter. Neither of them have the whole picture. And the only way that Peter is gonna get a more complete theology is if he spends time with Cornelius. And the only way Cornelius is gonna get a more complete theology is if he spends time with Peter. Pretty interesting how God works it out that way.”
