Moses in this song declares he is The Rock, his work is perfect, for all of his ways are judgment, a god of Truth, and without iniquity, just and right is he. [00:01:38]

God told Moses to write a song and to teach it to the nation of Israel, beginning with verse 19 of the 31st chapter the Lord said write this song and teach it to the children of Israel, put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. [00:02:03]

God knowing all things, knew that when the children of Israel came into this land, that was such a bountiful land, that had such an ideal climate that it was able to produce such wonderful fruit and vegetables and Grains, that as the people became prosperous God knew that they would forsake Him. [00:04:06]

The rock is a symbol that is used throughout the Bible to represent God and to represent Jesus Christ. When we think of a rock, we think of something that is strong, something that is enduring, we often think of it as a place of protection or a place of shelter. [00:06:02]

The prophet Isaiah also used the rock as an analogy for God. In Isaiah 17 he said because you have forsaken the god of your salvation, you've not been mindful of the rock of your strength, and in prophesying of the Messiah Isaiah said behold the king shall reign in righteousness. [00:09:33]

The smitten Rock from which the Water of Life flowed to them was a picture of Jesus Christ, who was smitten in order that life might flow forth to us through our faith and trust in him. [00:21:10]

Jesus is talking about the spiritual houses that people build, there are some who build their spiritual houses upon the sand, you hear them say well all roads lead to God, it doesn't matter what you believe as long as you are sincere, for one religion is as good as another. [00:25:18]

Paul the Apostle said for other Foundation can no man lay then that which is laid which is Jesus Christ he only is the true foundation upon which to build your spiritual house, for if you build your spiritual house Upon Jesus Christ it can withstand the storms that come. [00:26:14]

As we enter into this special week and as the minds of many of people are turned towards the resurrection, may it be a very special blessed week for you as the Holy Spirit again just ministers to us of the blessings that we have through Jesus Christ Our Rock. [00:32:36]

Because he died for our sins and rose again the third day for our justification, thus may we just experience a fresh and anew God's love, God's grace, and God's salvation through our Lord. [00:33:04]

The Lord blessed thee and keep Thee, the Lord make his face to shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee and be gracious unto thee the Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace. [00:33:47]

It is quite possible that some of you are in a storm today, your spiritual house is being assaulted, and you might find yourself slipping, if so it's because you don't have a solid foundation, it's important that you have a solid foundation, even Jesus Christ, The Rock. [00:35:11]
