The Constitution of America can only work if it's guiding and leading a moral people. A people without a moral compass, the Constitution of the United States will fail. The framers said when they wrote it, they said the Constitution will only work to govern a moral people. [00:26:19]

Your morals come from this book right here if somebody was teaching you this book, if somebody was teaching you what God's word says, that's where your morals come from, that's where your virtue comes from, not from some other source. It's got to come from here. [00:27:08]

What are kids? They're sponges. They soak up everything around them. A young child is just like a sponge. Everything that we input into them, it's going in there. How many of you have had a conversation with your child about Jesus, the importance and the necessity of being in church? [00:27:48]

If we're not raising our children to live lives that would bring glory and honor to God, what are we doing? Because I remind you, you're teaching them something. You don't have an option. As soon as you give birth to that child, you are leading them one way or the other. [00:29:36]

Why do we do a baby dedication? We're saying very much before the church, we're saying we're going to raise up this child with your help and with the Lord's Grace. We're going to raise up this child in fear and admonition of the Lord because we want to raise this child to be an upstanding citizen. [00:30:42]

Are you living out the life that you say here that you believe? You say God is Holy and I love God, I love the Lord Jesus Christ, I love everything about the church, I love everything about his word, but when you walk out that door, are you turning into a different person? [00:31:17]

Our country is where it's at because we're not raising our children to live virtuous moral Lifestyles. What do we do? A young man that goes out and has a rendezvous with a young lady, we pat him on the back. I got taken to task this week at work because I said in the eyes of God, heterosexual sin is just as wrong as homosexual sin. [00:32:25]

Until we get back to a place to where we begin to teach the truth of God's word and we teach our children to love God, to love his word, to love a holy lifestyle, to love these things, we can expect our country to just continue down that same old path. [00:33:34]

We've got to start teaching these children right from wrong. Where do we learn that? From God's word. We've got to teach our kids that the things of this world, while they may look flashy, it may look like low hanging fruit, it may look like fun, but dear brother and sister, I ask you, what keeps you up at night? [00:35:16]

It means when somebody comes into your presence, is that glow that was on Moses's face when he come off of that Mountain. Have you spent time with Jesus? Do you look different? Why did the apostles, why did they look different? They said these are uneducated men, but they spent time with Jesus. [00:37:09]

I venture to say to you this morning that if America don't get back to what America was founded on and if America don't go back to teaching her kids to fear God, then I fear God's going to destroy us. People don't want to hear that message. They don't want to hear it. [00:38:19]

The act of dedication is in keeping with the teaching of God's word. An example is the dedication of Jesus by his parents. In this service dedication, we are first to give thanks to God for the creation and the birth of this child. Secondly, we are to make a solemn promise as parents and as a church. [00:45:09]
