Day 1: The Principle of Sowing and Reaping

When we give generously—whether our time, resources, or talents—God multiplies what we offer and returns it to us in ways that far exceed what we could have imagined. This principle is not just about finances, but about every area of our lives: when we sow into others, God brings a harvest of blessing, influence, and righteousness back into our lives. The world tells us to hold tightly to what we have, but God’s kingdom operates on the principle that giving leads to abundance, and that cheerful, expectant generosity positions us to receive even more from Him. 2 Corinthians 9:6-11 (NIV)
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. When we bring what we have to Jesus, no matter how small it seems, He blesses it, breaks it, and multiplies it to meet needs far beyond our own. The miracle of the five loaves and two fish reminds us that God is not limited by our resources; He is looking for willing hearts that trust Him enough to offer what they have. As we surrender our “lunch”—our gifts, our time, our finances—He uses it to bless others and returns a harvest that is more than enough for us and those around us. [55:11]

Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?” He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.” One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. God is not as concerned with the amount we give as He is with the attitude of our hearts. True generosity is marked by joy, expectation, and a willingness to participate in God’s work, knowing that He is faithful to reward those who give with the right spirit. When we give hilariously—predisposed with expectation and fully convinced of God’s goodness—we align ourselves with His heart and open the door for Him to pour out blessings that overflow into every area of our lives. Day 4: Building Together for a Greater Harvest

God calls us to build His house and His kingdom together, not just for ourselves but for the generations to come and for those who have yet to encounter Jesus. Every act of faith, every gift, every moment spent serving or discipling others is a seed sown into a harvest of transformed lives, restored families, and a community that reflects heaven on earth. When we unite in vision and action, God multiplies our efforts and does more through us than we could ever accomplish alone. [32:12]

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

Day 5: Obedience and Faith Matter More Than Amounts

God measures generosity not by the size of the gift, but by the obedience and faith behind it. The story of the widow’s mite shows that God honors those who give sacrificially and wholeheartedly, regardless of how their offering compares to others. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

There are still practical needs before us—repairs to our building, improvements for our children’s spaces, and continued outreach to our community and beyond. But these are not just expenses; they are investments in the harvest God is bringing. Every act of generosity, no matter the size, is a seed that God can multiply for His glory. I'm confident that if you attend this church regularly and receive from the Lord, every time you enter this house expecting to do so, you leave with something better than you came in with. He gauges generosity based on obedience and a heart condition.”
