#GodDescendsToSave
“their best efforts were still beneath him. That humiliates people, but it should humble us. Because guess what? We're we worship a God who didn't just come down to see the city. He came down to save sinners. glad he's a God that descends. I'm glad he's a God that transcends, that he comes and literally gets beneath us in order to exalt us where we spend most of our life trying to exalt ourselves so he has to humble us. This is like this is the gospel.”

#BuildTheBoat
“Okay? One's a boat, one's a building. What do you wanna build? You wanna build a boat or a building? You wanna build something that floats or something that's gonna collapse under pressure? Man, when the wrath of God is being revealed against all the goddesses and wickedness of men who suppress the truth of God for a lie, you wanna be in a building or you wanna be on a boat? You wanna be able to float above the coming wrath of God or be destroyed under it? What do you wanna build?”
40s
#GodIsNecessary
“Because God knows the capacity that he ordained humanity with. And if he does it like intervention is not punishment, it's prevention. They'll continue to build a world that they feel like they don't need God in. They'll continue to believe that they can accomplish what only I can do. They can create a world where they can find value so they won't be forgotten when they're gone. They'll believe that they they can literally, eliminate the vulnerabilities of this life. And you can't you can't do that without the Lord.”
38s
#MakeADifferenceNotAMark
“We wanna understand there's a pathway. Why are you doing it? Surely for enjoyment, definitely. God gives us all things for our enjoyment. But we need to understand, I'm not doing it to leave my mark. I'm doing it to make a difference. Those are two completely different motivations. Right? What is driving you? When it becomes that eternal purpose, boy, how to watch out. You're unstoppable. You'll not only be well known, you'll be worth knowing. You will finally be a person that's worth knowing.”
51s
#RememberTheSabbath
“It's because it it gets to the point where you just you finally give up the shoulder, or you continue to expand and increase, and you don't expand the shoulder. We lose this capacity to breathe, to breathe. And God God literally weaved into creation a pace whereby once every seven days, you stop and do nothing productive. You produce nothing. Okay? And on the seventh day, God rested because his work was finished. There's a moment when you live, and for God, he didn't rest because he was exhausted. He rest because the work was completed. And Christians do not rest because they don't live in the finished work of Christ.”
33s
#WorkToGlorifyGod
“You just gotta ask yourself, where's all that blood, sweat, and tears going? Where's all those sleepless nights getting you? What's all that effort and time? Man, you could be glorifying God with every minute of your labor at work because you keep telling me, father, I'm just building a boat. I'm trying to get as many people on that boat before the angel of the lord shuts the door up. Because once he shuts the door, nobody else is getting on it.”
27s
#ProgressDidntFixTheHeart
“And it's not changed at all. Progress has been imperatively important and significant, gosh, the great things that have happened. But the heart of humanity has not been changed by it. In fact, if anything, it's been tortured by it. So man has actually built a world that has diminished his value and increased his vulnerability.”
33s
#DontEdgeGodOut
“But what does it do? Right? That's going to the moon. It's wonderful. I'm glad we did it because you proved man is capable. But if you think that kind of stuff is gonna change your life, you've lost your mind. There's only one thing that changes his life, Jesus Christ. And in all this improvement, what we have done is we have demonstrated extraordinary ego, the ability to ease God out. We push him to the margin. And the space that was once his is now something else's.”
40s
#NoIdolOfProgress
“And they wanna build a tower to reach like they they have now turned their capacities and their god given ingenuity and abilities into an idol. We think we can make this world so good that we could build a pathway to heaven. That's where I mean, light right. We we just make it so good. Otherwise, we're gonna be scattered over the face of the whole earth. So you see egotistical maniacs coupled with unbelievable fear, you get disaster.”
30s
#GodsCompassionateCorrection
“That's it. I mean, look what he's doing. He's done this to get our attention, not to punish us. Let's scatter them a little bit. Let's let's let's allow a little confusion to come in because while they're thinking rightly, here's the problem. It'll leave them not in their right mind. That's his compassion. It's unbelievable. Isn't it? God's confusion is actually what we need to protect us.”
28s
#RestProtectsMentalHealth
“But you can't just, like God said, no. One out of seven. One out of seven. One out of seven. Disconnect from everything and everyone, and that's part of the the premise of and it's written by a wonderful medical doctor who talks about the medical crises and the mental health crises that has happened because of a lack of margin. Progress that diminishes our margin will eventually diminish our mental health. And that's not theory. That's fact.”
46s
#GodlyInnovation
“You're like, Pharaoh, you're pessimistic. No, I'm not. Love progress. Love it, but I love Jesus more. And is there a way for godly people to take the incredibly inherent god given gifts to advance this kingdom of Christ through innovation, with integrity, with passion. Should we not be the most productive people on the face of the earth? Should we not be the best at every endeavor we put our hands to? Should we not have the best schools, the best teachers? Because we serve and worship the one true God, and that when our motives are different, our margin will not be consumed.”
44s
#AIDoesntReplaceMargin
“And we're so afraid of making mistakes that if I can somehow remove the vulnerability through a software program, everybody will think I'm smarter than I am. I'll be able to produce papers that are academic. No, you won't. Because people that are smarter than you can read it in a second because nobody's that smart. Nobody has grammar that good. And I'm a great writer. Nobody. And, again, will it take away jobs? don't know. But I can tell you one thing AI is never gonna do, give you margin. It's just gonna demand more from you.”
42s
#BuildWithGodsStone
“You see, if you were to trace this word all and in fact, trace bricks and stone throughout the old testament, you'll see bricks always stand for building something against the principles of God and and the purposes of God, and stone is always building something to honor God. The temple, the altar, the foundation, the entire temple was not to be built with anything that was not an unhuge stone. You could get it, but you couldn't chisel it. You couldn't break it. Don't touch it. Dig it out. Bring it forth. Because God has created something that is so wonderful. And guess what he doesn't need? Man to improve upon it.”
58s
#ChooseStonesNotBricks
“Because stone is what god makes. Bricks are what man makes. Stone is far more expensive, far more expensive per square foot than brick. Stone requires craftsmanship. Stone requires diligence. Stone requires patience. You take the stone as it's given to you and do the best you can to work with it. Brick, you make it the way you wanna make it. You just put it into these frames, and you lick put it all together with water and straw and sand, and literally, some of the same quality that's in a stone. You emulsify it, put it together, you bake it at extreme heat so you can have a very unified brick. Okay? And so what they're doing is they think they can build a life with what they make and choose against building a life with what God provided. Because this is harder work.”
