#EquippedToWitness
“``But you are witnesses for Christ. And Corrie Ten Boom was worried she wasn't gonna have the courage to be a good witness for Christ when things got tough. Do you remember what her father told her? Her father said, Corey, when we're going on the train, do I give you the money for the ticket three weeks before we go on the train, or do I give it just before we get to the train station? I said, well, dad, you give it to me just before we get to the train station. He said, it'll be like that with god. You may feel like you don't have the courage to be a martyr, but when the time comes, he'll give you the courage. See, the person who says yes to Jesus will be equipped for every good work because it's really only a good work if it's the will of your father in heaven.”

#YouBelongToGod
“Do you belong to God? The answer is yes, whether you think so or not. Even those who haven't chosen God yet, they were made by him. He has provided for them throughout their lives. He has a beautiful calling if they would only accept it. They belong to God, and you belong to God. There's there's a place where Paul says, Jesus Christ died for the sins of all people, especially for those who believe. They kinda go, what does that mean? Well, those who have accepted that gift have benefited from it way more than the person who hasn't accepted that gift yet. The end of guilt and shame, if your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to be free of guilt, free of shame, to be set free from the stuck destructive patterns of life, and to be led into the life that truly is living, the freedom in Christ. You belong to God.”

#ScriptureStands
“It's amazing scripture that you can translate into every language on earth, and it remain it maintains its power. It remain it maintains its message. You can translate it, and you can even if you're telling someone, you know, John three sixteen and and you mix up the words a little bit, you're probably gonna get the message out. Scripture is, and this is my human word, robust. You know, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. It's strong and powerful. worrying about whether the ending of that word in the manuscript on page 69 of the Greek New Testament in the twenty sixth edition, whether that letter is right or not, that's important. We gotta we gotta do our due diligence as as bible translators and and and proofreaders and but in the end, it's of really minor importance compared to the message that is always coming through loud and clear, however bad the spelling or the typesetting may be.”

#GlorifyInAction
“As you're singing those songs, as you're as you're reaching out to him with his prayer, be glorified. That's the request of god. Please be glorified in my life. To ask him, lord, what's happening today? What am I doing today? Where will I be today where I could glorify you? Right? It's not just here in worship. I I was saying to, I think, at the men's group that praise without imitation is just flattery. Right? If we say you're great, but we don't act like he's great, we're just we're just trying to manipulate god with flattery.”

#ShareGodsJoy
“I I I just think that that this worship is such a big thing as we as we are filled with this experience of god's presence, as we are filled with joy at thinking about how good it is to be in the presence of God and how good he is. And then to think, if I glorify you, it's gonna be bringing some of that joy with me into somebody else's life. Nothing makes God so happy someone who doesn't who's not aware of his presence becoming aware that they have a friend who sticks closer than a brother. And if we can have a part in sharing that joy with somebody else, not only does that person become joyful, not only do we become more joyful, but God himself delights in it. Jesus says, whenever somebody comes to faith in in him, there's a party in heaven. And I think maybe we should just say, Lord, I wanna do everything today that will kick off as many parties in heaven as is possible.”

#ScriptureGuidesFaith
“about the the the value of scripture. It says, we believe that the scriptures of both the old and new testament are given by god and are infallible guides to faith and life. That's pretty strong. Infallible, but they put the little bracket in regards to faith and life. They are not trying to say it's infallible if you wanna find out how many horses pull the chariot that the sun rides across the sky. It's not we're not pinning our faith on the answer to that question. But with regards to whether we should love our enemy or not, it's very, very clear, and you just can't get away from it. Did Jesus die on the cross for your sins? Faith and life? Yes. Indeed. It's perfect in that. If if I we try to put human labels on things well beyond our comprehension. And my human label on the scriptures is that what we have in scripture is exactly what God wants us to have in scripture.”

#KnowGodsVoice
“We miss out on a lot because we don't know the word well, so we don't recognize his calling in the midst of life. And sometimes we aren't able to distinguish the the little nudges we get internally from the holy spirit, from the little nudges we get from, well, you know, there's a little pull from the holy spirit, but there's also a little pull from the refrigerator door, which is the holy spirit. We get nudges all over the place, and the word helps us spend the time to discover the the real voice of God that's speaking to us within.”

#ScripturesForLife
“Paul is talking about problems in the church right now, and he says, scripture is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. Yes. It is. Do you think that's an exhaustive list? Have you ever been encouraged by scripture? Have you ever been uplifted and and moved by scripture? Is it all about god saying, no. Correction. You're wrong. Or have you ever heard god say, you got it. You got this one. Like a proud father who says, beautiful. You've made your first steps perfect. God's word is useful for more than what's listed here. But it is useful for what's listed here and more because Paul's not gonna cover it all. I think that sentence could go on for chapters just to talk about the usefulness of God's word. But you'll know that.”
