#EternalHope
“Everything that is happening in this fallen world is a reminder that this can't be it. There has to be something more. There has to be something better. It's just not fair if this is it. All the corruption, all the injustices, all the brokenness, all the broken relationships, all the misunderstandings, all the fights, all the hurts and heartaches. There has to be something better or else life is really not worth living. And there is. This fallen sinful world points us to the need for an eternal savior. The savior whose shed blood on the cross allows us into the new heavens and the new earth. Where sin is no more, it is eradicated, where relationships and friendships are mended and restored, where the world is no longer corrupt because a holy god sits ruling, and where death and dying is no more. And we will live forever for all eternity with our lord, fellowshipping with him in pure joy and bliss.”

#OnlyGodSaves
“Because of what God has done and will do, there is not much debate. He is the only one true God. In fact, the world can come together and discuss if a piece of carved wood has done all of these things in history or if it is Yahweh, the only true God. And since the results are conclusive, look at verse 22. There is an invitation. Look to me and be saved. There is no one else, no one thing we can turn to except God. God alone saves. He saved the people of Israel from exile through Cyrus, and he prepared, and he provided eternal salvation for the world through his son, Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins and that by believing in him, we have eternal life.”

#TrustGodsPlan
“God's will, which is always for our best, is what will ultimately prevail. And I'm comforted in knowing that my prayers are not canceled out by someone else's evil or opposite prayers, and that somehow my prayers and someone else's prayers isn't a test of whom God likes more or loves more or less. Every prayer is answered in accordance with his will. So, my friends, we can take heart. Even if we don't know what is happening and things that are happening in our lives just overwhelm us, we are to remain faithful and to keep our trust in the Lord. We can be assured that it will all work out because God is at work. And that is how we can make sense of the chaos and uncertainties surrounding this world now and in our very lives.”

#PrayAndTrust
“You see, in the great mystery of God's sovereign will and our responsibility to pray, the Bible teaches the truth that our prayers, James chapter five verse 16, the prayers of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Someway, somehow affects God's sovereign decisions. And yet in that mystery, which we can't understand in our limited human minds, we are commanded to pray. And at the same time, be assured that only God's will will be accomplished. So I will just pray and find assurance that my request, misguided and wrong, will not come to fruition.”

#GodRevealed
“You see, the first reason things happen even when we don't fully understand it is number one, so that God may be known to all. So that God may be known to all. Now it doesn't mean that everyone will believe him, and they don't. But there are things that happen whether done by believers or unbelievers, which God allows because his ultimate purpose is so that he is glorified and magnified and made known to all people. God uses people who do not believe him, allows corrupt government officials to thrive, allows despotic political systems and people to flourish. And we may not understand why, but someway, somehow, through it all, God is being made known and to the nations.”

#GodKnowsBest
“And yet, that is what we often do. We have the audacity and the pride to tell God what he should do as if we know what's best for us when we don't even know what will happen tomorrow. We should be thanking god that he doesn't give us what we always think we want. God gives us what he deems best for us and not what we believe to be best for us.”

#KnowHisWord
“My friends, we are uncertain about life, and so we react with fear and rashness. We're confused and we're troubled when things don't go our way. And it's because we do not know God and his word. Remember, what is happening in this world and in our lives is to show forth the truthfulness of God's word. So know his word, and you will be prepared for life.”

#GodsWordIsTrue
“What has happened and will happen in history is a declaration that god's words are truthful. And what has happened and will happen in the daily lives of each person is a living testimony that god's promises are true. And my friends, this is the third reason why things happen in this world and in our lives. Number three, so that God's word is declared truthful. So that God's word is declared truthful. My friends, this is such an important principle to understand. The things that happen in life will never contradict God's word, but will only reinforce it and vice versa.”
