“``but I say that to say this, she put her line in the water and just let it sit. I threw my line in the water 150 times. But we both caught something. if she hadn't put her line in and I hadn't thrown mine out, there's one thing for sure, we wouldn't have caught nothing. And so that's the thing. Every day, when you see the opportunity You see somebody struggling. I know I have an easier time talking to people that are struggling about Jesus but there's people that got everything going on. We see em every day. They look like everything's going on but they need prayer. They need somebody to tell em just what god has done for them or just how good Jesus is. Take a minute. Every time the opportunity presents itself, like me, throwing that out. If I throw it out enough, I'm gonna further the word of god and that's what it's all about.”

“Jesus had seen, I mean, Peter had seen what Jesus could do. There's no doubt. He was at a point where he knew that he was he was he was something. He knew he was special. He seen what what was able to be done and so he followed Jesus. Well, this is the picture of of us or picture of me. I learned that Jesus was special and I learned that he could change my life and I learned that he could take me places that I I had never been. But I still struggle. I still have shortcomings. I still have downfalls along the way. That doesn't mean that Jesus isn't with me. That just means that I'm human and the Bible tells us that we're all none of us are perfect. No, not one. So that's okay.”

“Jesus doesn't really need anything. I mean, he can walk on water. You know, I mean, he could've walked out there in the middle and just stood and preached and I'm sure it got them people's attention more than being in that boat. and god will use what you have to get to you. So, what did he have? He had a boat and so Jesus seen the boat and he says, well, how do I get Peter? You get in his boat. If you think that won't get somebody's attention, y'all leave here today and go to Walmart and get somebody's car and tell them when they come out, hey, I go to Tundra and I wanna preach and I see your keys. You're gonna get their attention. You might get shot but you'll get their attention. that's that's that's the thing. I really don't think that he needed it but he wanted Peter and so he used what he could to get to Peter.”
