“I had to realize that I'm never gonna be perfect and then, like, oh, I have done all the things, and now I can get baptized. Like, it's more of, do I wanna follow Jesus, like, for the rest of my life? And I know it's gonna be hard, and I know I'm gonna mess up. Like, it's not gonna be, oh, I'm gonna go down in the water, and everything's gonna be sunshine and rainbows. Like, I there's gonna be some hard times after I'm baptized, but I know that there's hope and that you proclaim that Jesus died for you and that he's your savior. It's a proclamation towards the church of, like, your heart mindset.”

“And it is it just encourages you to do it. You you read your bible because you're in love with God, not because he needs you to do something. You know? And so growing that personal relationship with him, has been just really encouraging to me. Like, he's not some strict genie in a bottle that I've, like, had this thought of for so long that he's real. He's present. I'm not just singing to the ceiling.”

“I would really share to them, like, it's it's okay, and you don't have to have it all together to be a part of leadership, which is something I've really had to understand. That's why I love Forest Park is that they're just understanding that we're all human, but they help you grow into the person or the worship leader that you may wanna become. My understanding of god has been ever changing. And I'm looking back, like, it's a good thing because I'm trying to really strengthen my knowledge of the truth and strengthen my faith. But so”
