#DeadToLife
“Didn't come to improve he didn't come to improve dead hearts. He came to make them alive, y'all. He didn't come to make bad people better. He came to make dead people alive. And church, that's the difference between religion and the gospel. Religion says, fix yourself up and make yourself more presentable. And Jesus says, bring me the rot, bring me the dead parts, bring me all of those things, the brokenness and I'm gonna make you new.”

#GraceBeyondMeasure
“The gospel is so incredibly simple, but also so incredibly unbelievably difficult to comprehend at least for me at the same time. And it says this, y'all, we are worse than we imagine we are, right? But God's grace is so much more than we could ever imagine. Jesus lived the life that we could never live and he died on that cross the death that we deserved, amen.”

#LivingWaterOnly
“You don't go to heaven because you got baptized one time. You don't go to bed to heaven because you can quote scripture or you feel like you're a good person. None of those things will get us to heaven. Jesus says, you must be born again, not improved, not cleaned up externally, but made new. And that leads us to this, only Jesus can give us living water.”

#LooksDontLast
“In other words, otherwise all that beautiful work I'd done on the exterior just wasn't gonna last, right? And even with all the money and time that I poured into that house, it's eventually gonna need to be loved on and restored again because nothing on this earth is eternal, right? In churches, was studying this week, I started thinking about that old house and I was thinking about the Pharisees and about Nicodemus and I thought, you know, that's exactly what religion does.”
