#PrayBoldly
“And you know as parent, when your kids do more than you, like, that's the best feeling. And when God surprises us, like friends, that felt like a snake. It felt like a scorpion. There were moments, the weight of it was too big, but then how much more? How much more can our God do? What is your big, bold, audacious prayer? Is it for a prodigal child to come home? Is it for work? Is it for someone to be able to immigrate from another country to have family reunited? Is maybe to see kids come to Jesus, family come to Jesus. What is that bold, audacious prayer that you are knocking and knocking and knocking and not gonna give up?”

#HowMuchMoreGod
“We draw him down into size and kinda small. He said, how much more God? That Joseph had a dream that his family was bowing down before him. How much more did God do when the whole country bowed down? That Ruth was looking for a little bit of food to eat. How much more does God do when God gave Ruth a husband, a family, a legacy, a home, land back? That David was looking to build just an earthly temple for God. And God said, I wanna do, David, a legacy for you. From you, the savior is gonna come. We have a how much more God.”

#KnowWhoYouPrayTo
“And Jesus, he gives this bold pattern of prayer that it's a family meeting. It's more about God than it is about us. It's about building his kingdom, not my kingdom. It's about being daily dependent on him, rigorously honest with what's going on in our life, and it's about making sure there's no spiritual drift. And he gives this pattern of prayer, but then he says, I want you to give a bold picture of my father, the one who is listening. Because it's not just the mechanics of prayer or what prayer is, it's understanding who's listening. And I think the biggest battle we have when we pray is is God really listening and who is the one listening? What's he like?”

#ForgiveToBeForgiven
“And the measure that we forgive others is what we want God to forgive us with. And how many times do we go to God and it's like, okay, God, would you just forgive me? And we don't wanna forgive others because that means we pay twice, really. Right? When someone hurts us, we pay. Like, they owe me. They do something. And when we forgive, we're like, okay, that debt's canceled. They don't owe me anymore. They don't have to pay me. And that hurts because it means that we pay something twice. Exactly. That's what Jesus did for us. We hurt him and he died on the cross and paid the price.”
