#PowerUnderControl
“As they spit on him, as they mocked him, as they cursed his name, as they dared him, come down from the cross. He saved others, but himself he cannot save. Man, I don't know how you and I would respond, if we had the power of almighty God at our disposal, I don't know if I could handle that. Right. I'd be sitting there with my eyes. I'd be like, leprosy. The the stomach virus that's going around. Say it again. Say it again. Talk about meekness, power under control. I will submit myself to the will of the father and I will die for the sins of mankind. It doesn't matter what happens to me. Jesus, the ultimate example, of course, of meekness. Complete power under perfect control.”

#TrustGodWithOutcomes
“You don't have to fight for every right because you trust God with the outcome. Well, I deserve this. If that's true, I think God knows it. I ought to have this. I need this. I think God knows that. But you don't have to stand up and pick it your your own life every single day. What do we want? Blessings. When do we want them? Now. What do we want? Blessings. When do we want them? Now. And and you're struggling and you're you're fighting. You're so discouraged. And then you get bitter at God because he's not responding to your voice. Well, if you want a God that you can control, then you should have it. I'll take mine because I like to let him control things and he does a much better job than I ever could.”

#MeeknessIsStrength
“``Meekness is not weakness. It is strength under control. we've got very, very, very capable people in this room. Very intelligent, very skilled. Some of you very accomplished in your in your work and in your fields and and lots of experience. I'm not telling you today that you gotta dumb yourself down and and and make yourself incapable of doing I can't I don't even know what to eat for breakfast this morning. I have to pray for three days about it. I'm not saying that. That's not meekness. there are many areas of our life that we must submit to the master's touch. Even though you're strong, even though you're wise, even though you're experienced, you'd be better to let the lord lead and guide you. Get that strength under control.”

#StrengthUnderGodsControl
“Jesus says that the blessed life belongs to people who have learned to give learned to place their strength under God's control. You wanna live a blessed life? Take what you have. Yes. You're a strong man. Yes. You're a wise woman. Yes. You're capable of this or a skilled that. Well, wonder what God could do with that Amen. If you would put it under his control. Amen. let him build you an amazing life greater than he could ever possibly imagine. Meekness is not weakness, church. Meekness is taking the strength and the power that God gave you and saying, Lord, you have the reins to this. Use it as you see fit. Make it of it what you want it to be. I trust you with it. We talked about today about the love of God. It's just like his great love. We sang that great song. No. Not one. Jesus knows all about our struggles. He will guide to the days that and we'll sing it and we'll think about, oh, yeah. God loves me. You know what? He loves you enough to guide your life properly too. You gotta trust him in that.”

#LetTheRiderLead
“So I don't know how God could use me. It doesn't matter. It's not up to you to figure out. The horse doesn't have to figure out where the trail is. The rider will lead them to the trail. They'll steer them. They'll they'll keep them away from the dangerous plants. They'll keep them from riding off of a cliff. The the master knows the territory. You get dropped into a field somewhere and you think you've got control over everything. There are great dangers out there. We're gonna teach the kids about that this week about it's a jungle out there. The world is a dangerous place, especially spiritually. Yes. You're strong. Yes. You're powerful. Yes. You're fast. But we still need the the master rider to get aboard and to steer us where we ought to go.”

#PeaceOverWealth
“The meek, they enjoy life more now. They may even have less by worldly standards, but there are millionaires all across our world that would give every single cent for some peace of mind. If I just had peace, everything is so turbulent. Everything is so depressing. Everything is so wrong. I could buy anything I want right now, but I can't buy peace. don't have to be rich to have peace, church.”

#JesusModelMeekness
“How in the world Jesus. How could Jesus be meek? How how is he submitting? Well, he had the authority of the father. He had strength in his body. I mean, he went in and overturned tables and rebuked pharisees and pressed himself through crowds. He wasn't a wimpy man. He was a carpenter. Don't let the don't let the the fragile English and French paintings fool you of who Jesus was. He was a man. He was a man. None of us would would would have wanna see him that day and say, that's that's the savior? No. He looked like an average man. Worked hard. He had power. He had strength. He had influence. He had the authority of the father. He could cast out demons. He could bring people back from the dead, yet he submitted himself as a servant to die for the sins of mankind. That is power under control.”

#LetGodTakeTheSwing
“You can take the bat in your hand all you want. You can take the swing. For you cardinal sports lovers in here, you can give the bat to Jordan Walker and let him take the swing or Albert Pujols. You know, if if I if I'm down to one swing in my life, I think I want someone who really knows what they're doing to take the swing. You can hold on to it. God gives you free will. can spend your entire life frustrated trying to inherit the earth on your own, or you could have peace. And you can be blessed of God because you said, you know what, no matter what God has given me, just I think he's a better manager than I am.”
