#ForgivenAndBlessed
“``It is true. We are blessed because we've been forgiven. And that great psalm about the doctrine of justification by faith, how God imputes to us righteousness instead of guilt should bring praise to our heart. He says it right there, blessed is the man whom the Lord does not impute iniquity. Well, that's definitely something to praise the Lord about. Ephesians one seven Paul says, in him, that is in Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace. I love how he starts right there. Don't forget his benefits. And what are they? The forgiveness of sin.”

#PraiseNoSkillNeeded
“And these are things that you should be telling yourself. So whenever you're discouraged and you're cast down, you should tell yourself hope in God. you should be telling yourself to praise the Lord and you should sing praises. You don't have to have a trained voice or be a trained musician in order to sing praises to God. He accepts you the way that you are. Whether you can sing or not, whether you can carry a tune, or wear your tone deaf, it doesn't matter. God wants you to praise him. So that's the first thing. David tells himself as he's talking to himself to bless the Lord or to praise the Lord. The second thing he tells himself is to do it with all your heart.”

#WholeheartedWorship
“David tells himself as he's talking to himself to bless the Lord or to praise the Lord. The second thing he tells himself is to do it with all your heart. Now that's very helpful too because sometimes we can just go through the motions and we're not really in it. Our heart's not in it. We're just doing it out of habit. And he says there, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Well, true praise, it can't be half hearted. It involves the real person. Jesus in Matthew twenty two thirty seven, you should love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Solomon said in Proverbs three five and six, trust in the Lord, how? With all your heart.”

#ForgivenessBeyondMeasure
“Well, again, says here that he forgives all of our iniquities. He's pardoned us. If you look over to verse 12, we find him even saying this, as far as the East is from the West, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. I don't think we really get that. That God has forgiven us. He's pardoned us. And the idea of iniquities, it means perversity and crookedness, twisted natures referring to evil and sin. And listen beloved, only God can forgive sin. You can't forgive yourself and you certainly can't forgive the sins of others that are against God. You can forgive the sins of others that are against you and you should.”
