“``All of the commandments are about protecting something that is precious, that is holy, that is sacred. However, we're going to say that. And that's something also we want to keep in mind. They all have positive and negative sides. Many of them are framed simply negatively. I mean, you shall not is a is a negative kind of framing, but they all have a positive and a negative aspect, something that is required and that is prohibited for the sake of the protection of sacred things.”

“The one thing that maybe we'll just very quickly point out in terms of not taking the name of the lord your god in vain because many people don't realize or think about this or see it. This is not simply a prohibition against literal misuse of god's name to call down, you know, damnation on people, or to engage in cursing in the proper sense. More than that, this is a protection of God's name in terms of God's reputation, and it is connected with those who bear God's name. So, those who are God's people carry his name. And if they misrepresent if they behave and live and speak in such a way as they cast God's good name down, they ruin his reputation, that is a violation of this commandment. So as Christians, how we behave as Christians has a direct relationship to this particular command.”

“we're gonna have a sanctuary that is going to be prepared. And something extremely important is that all of the details that are given to Moses, everything for the priest priestly activity, the priestly garments, the tabernacle, the setting for the for the tabernacle, all of its furniture, furniture, all of that, this is all going to be a matter that is connected to a divine pattern. This is God commanding it to be exactly so, and it is going to be patterned after the heavenly sanctuary, as a an echo of it, as a reflection of it. So on earth as in heaven. Okay? This is gonna be a a theme that is going to be unpacked that will be extremely important.”

“We then have the, representatives. The leadership are going to actually go up onto the mountain, partway up the mountain, and they are going to have feast as a result. This follows the usual pattern. swear a covenant. You literally cut a covenant. When you swear the oath, the oath swearing creates the covenant that is the family relationship. And then because you are now of one covenant, one family, you do what families do and you eat together. And the eating together, the sharing of the covenant meal is a sign and a fulfillment of the creation of this new relationship.”
