49s
“We don't become more like Jesus simply by collecting information about him, about learning all the different theologies, about reading all the books, about the different interpretations. No. We grow as we trust him enough to follow and actually do what he teaches. The gospel, the good news of god, calls us to a response, not just to learn, not just to keep information. Jesus didn't come so that we just have more information about God. He came to save us and bring us into a relationship with God.”

“Where are you in this story today? Do you need to receive the good news? Do you need to encounter Jesus? Or is there something that God is calling you to do in faith? Maybe he's calling you to be baptized. Maybe he's calling you to become a member. Maybe he's calling you to take a step of leadership or maybe start discipling and sharing the gospel with someone else. Or is it time to tell someone what Jesus has done in your life? The good news is meant to be shared, and God can use ordinary people like you and me to point others to Jesus.”

“Faith is jumping. Faith is acting on the belief and knowing, not only knowing, believing, but also acting. Some of us believe that God can save anybody, and yet, we don't act like it. We don't share the gospel. We believe that God can supply all our needs. And yet, when we look at our budget, we look at it as if it depends on us, not depends on him.”
