44s
“``Men, you don't have to check your masculinity at the door. This world continues to attack God's design for men and women. And one of these ways is through is the idea that being a man is toxic. You have heard probably the terminology toxic masculinity. Toxic masculinity is real. But let me tell you something. Anything done outside of the way God designed it is toxic. And the problem isn't being a man is toxic. The problem is is being a man of the world is toxic. The problem is we don't have biblical men, and that is toxic.”
44s
“It is our sin that enslaves us to rules, not God. When we choose to love ourselves over God, which is sin, then we are enslaved to rules. True joy is found in obedience to God's will and not obedience to our own will and our own desires. True joy is found in God's design and not our own. This world tells you to go and find it in your own desires, that you'll find joy, that you'll find happiness there, and it is a lie. The man of God does the hard thing and humbles himself to God's design and will. That's what a godly man does. That's what a man, not a dude, does.”
51s
“Men, being the man of god that God has called you to be is the hardest thing you will ever do. The hardest. Being that man requires you to humble yourself before the Lord, and that will be the hardest thing that you do. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God is what we see in scripture so that he can exalt you at the proper time. To be a man of God is to be a humble man. I don't mean a, aw, shucks man, or a timid man, but what I mean is a man who has submitted to the desires of God. A man that has looked and seen that there is no better way to live life than the way that God has designed it.”
60s
“You know, up until this point, God had spoken and things just existed. As he spoke them, they were there. And then it came to man and he took from the things that he had spoken to existence and formed the dust into a man. A shell of a man, lifeless. But in that moment, God face to face with man, and God breathed into the man's nostrils life, and he became a living being. God breathed life into man. You and I are created to be in a face to face connection and abiding with God. Nothing in between us. In him, God breathing life into you. This is where you're designed positionally to be. God did not design us for separation.”
