No matter what your past looks like, when you choose to walk faithfully with God, your entire future can be transformed. Enoch’s story shows that a turning point—like the birth of a child or a major life event—can be the moment you begin a new walk with God, leaving behind what once defined you. God is not looking for perfection, but for a heart that desires to walk with Him daily, trusting that He can redeem and redirect your life. Don’t let your past hold you back; instead, keep moving forward in Christ, knowing that your relationship with Him is what truly defines you. [03:20]
Genesis 5:21-24 (NKJV)
21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah.
22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters.
23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
Reflection: What is one area of your past that you need to stop letting define you, and how can you intentionally move forward with God today?
To truly walk with God, there must be agreement—aligning your heart, mind, and actions with His will. Just as two people in a three-legged race must move in unity, so must we adjust ourselves to God’s wisdom and direction. This means seeking to know His Word, repenting when we’re off course, and making daily choices that bring us into closer alignment with Him. Walking in agreement with God is not about Him adjusting to us, but about us humbly seeking to know and follow His ways, trusting that His plans are always for our good. [15:27]
Amos 3:3 (NKJV)
Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
Reflection: Where in your life do you sense you are out of agreement with God, and what practical step can you take today to align yourself with His will?
Pleasing God is not about grand gestures, but about daily faith—believing He is present, seeking Him, and maintaining fellowship with Him in every moment. Enoch’s testimony was that he pleased God, not by perfection, but by faith and consistent relationship. Whether you’re praying in your car, at work, or at home, every act of faith draws you closer to Him. Even when God feels silent, remain faithful, knowing that your prayers and pursuit of Him are precious in His sight. [36:16]
Hebrews 11:5-6 (NKJV)
5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Reflection: In what ordinary moment today can you intentionally acknowledge God’s presence and express your faith in Him?
Enoch’s being taken by God foreshadows the rapture—the blessed hope that Christ will return for His people. This promise is meant to inspire holy living and readiness, knowing that at any moment, we could be caught up to meet the Lord. The anticipation of Christ’s return should shape our choices, our priorities, and our pursuit of holiness. Let your heart be stirred to live each day in expectation, making sure you are ready and helping others to be ready as well. [58:30]
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Reflection: If you knew Christ could return today, what change would you make in your attitude, actions, or relationships to be ready for His coming?
As you walk with God, He not only draws you closer but also heals your heart, renews your mind, and corrects wrong perspectives—especially those shaped by past hurts or flawed relationships. God is not like any imperfect parent or authority figure you’ve known; He is faithful, loving, and always present. The more time you spend with Him, the more you come to know His true character, allowing Him to uproot pain, bitterness, or misunderstanding, and to fill you with His love and truth. [45:49]
Psalm 147:3 (NKJV)
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
Reflection: What past hurt or misconception about God do you need to bring to Him today, asking for His healing and a renewed understanding of His love?
Tonight, we explored the life of Enoch as found in Genesis 5:21-24, a man whose brief biblical biography holds profound lessons for us all. Enoch’s story is a seed planted early in Scripture, foreshadowing the rapture and revealing the heart of what it means to walk with God. Enoch was not perfect, but he made a decisive turn in his life—after the birth of his son, he began to walk faithfully with God for 300 years. This is a powerful reminder that our past does not define us; rather, it is our present pursuit of God that shapes our destiny. When we draw near to God, He can change the entire trajectory of our lives.
Walking with God is not a passive experience; it requires intentional maintenance of our relationship with Him, much like any meaningful relationship in our lives. There are times when we must have honest conversations with God, allowing Him to reveal our blind spots and help us grow. Agreement is essential—Amos 3:3 asks, “Can two walk together unless they be agreed?” To walk with God, we must align our motives, attitudes, and actions with His will. This means repenting when we fall short, seeking to know His heart, and adjusting our lives to His Word.
We also discussed the security of our salvation. Our relationship with God is not fragile; it is legally binding through the blood of Christ. While we may stumble and need to “wash our feet” daily, God’s love remains steadfast. He is always ready to receive us, heal us, and help us grow. As we walk with Him, He transforms our understanding of His character, especially if our earthly relationships have left us with distorted views of God’s love and faithfulness.
Enoch’s life points us to the hope of the rapture—the promise that those who walk with God will one day be caught up to be with Him forever. This hope should inspire us to live in readiness, to pursue holiness, and to be a voice of God’s love in a fallen world. We are called to walk faithfully, to be attentive to our relationship with Christ, and to let our lives be a testimony that we have been with Jesus.

So in the context of God being omniscient, all knowing, we probably are the ones who would want to. To be adjusting to a God who's all wise. Right. And all and has best interest for us. And we, of course, being the creation, we're going to find our greatest fulfillment by knowing the creator and why we were created right from him. So we should be in that posture of God. What do I need to do to get in agreement with you? What do I need to do to walk in agreement with you? [00:17:06] (36 seconds) #AlignWithTheCreator
Why would we want to be in agreement with God? What would be the benefit of that? Blessings. Yeah. What would be the benefit of obeying him? his favor. Right. Go ahead, brother. You'll hear hear our prayers as we as we choose. Yeah. Our prayers won't be hindered. We'll be walking with him and we'll we'll have, you know, favor with him where he'll move, you know, because we're walking with him. [00:20:50] (28 seconds) #BlessingsThroughObedience
Oh, I'm hungry to walk with God every single day. Aren't you? I want to walk with him because that's where the blessing is. It is right. Miss Anne, that's where the glory is coming out, right? That's where the we're under the spout, where the glory comes out, right? When you're walking with God, man, it's in his presence is what fullness of joy at his right hand are pleasures forevermore. [00:21:50] (23 seconds) #HungryForHisPresence
Our salvation isn't fragile. Our you know, our salvation is secure in Christ. It's a legal binding thing that God has made available. And Christ died for that. And his blood was shed for that. So legally, you are Ephesians chapter one and two. You blessed, adopted, forgiven, given an inheritance. Right. You've been given the spirit of wisdom and revelation and knowledge of him. Right. You've been you've been, you know, turned around. You've been redeemed. Right. Think about that. That is binding. That's what God says you are. [00:29:48] (39 seconds) #DailyRepentance
Wouldn't that be a great testimony to have? Please, God. Shouldn't it be our aim to please him? Our aim is to please him every day. Please him every minute. Everything that we do, every word that we say, right? Psalms 19. Let the words of my mouth, the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, right? My redeemer, right? [00:35:44] (21 seconds) #GodIsEverywhere
So what begins to happen when we walk with God? On the one side, we begin to adjust. Right? But on the other side, God begins to heal us. Right? He begins to heal. He begins to heal us. He begins to, you know, renew our mind, Ms. Anne. Right? About. So if you had a wrong mindset about salvation, then tonight you may have heard something that could challenge that to where, hey, I am saved. Legally, I am saved. Why am I questioning that? Right? That's a healing. That's a help. Right? That's a growth. That gives you, you know, more victory in your life to not let the devil say, well, I don't even think you're saved. Right? Yes, you're saved. Yes, I'm saved. Remember, the blood of Jesus is applied to my life. [00:43:03] (44 seconds) #HeartHealingPrayer
So walking with God begins to open up knowledge about him and getting to know him in grace. Right? So in the walking with God, it's possible to get to know him. It's possible for our areas that we are out of order. And thinking, he will adjust and move. [00:47:28] (21 seconds) #GodConnectsTheDots
So these are the three areas that we need to really get in agreement with God. First is motives. Right? Why do we do stuff? What's the motive that we should have from the word? Love. Right? Love. He wants us to do everything in love. Right? So if we have motives that we're doing stuff out of other reasons, that's an area that we can get. But what we're better at, right, to let love compel us, let love move us. Right? Let the love of God, Romans 5, 5, let the love of God be shed abroad in our hearts. Right? So we're moving by love. So our motives need to be checked to walk with God. Also, our attitudes. How many of you would say you got an attitude? Right? What's he say in Proverbs? He says, tie kindness around your neck. Right? Right? Tie kindness around your neck. You know, put it around like an ornament. Kindness. Right? Our attitudes sometimes can be, you know, something that's not representing Christ. [00:47:49] (68 seconds) #FaithInAFallenWorld
We're in a fallen world. We have an expiration. And if God didn't, if God was stopping every bad thing from happening to Christians, I think Pastor Stephanie said this the other day, God would have to apologize to all the martyrs throughout history. You know what I mean? So so we are in a fallen world. We're going to suffer some things. And a lot of times we see trouble as God judging us when it's not the majority of time. I wouldn't even consider it was God judging us. You know what I mean? Because there's, you know, God doesn't say why would Jesus heal sickness if God sent sickness? Right. If God's the one who's well, God gave me this. Well, I'm not going to pray for that. If God gave it to you, you need to keep it. Right. I mean, that's a such a contrary viewpoint. [00:54:43] (52 seconds)
So there's two events. The one we're looking for, of course, is the rapture. So that rapture is what we need to be ready for. Right. That's what makes. That's what makes teenagers not get in the back seat with their boyfriend and be necking. Right. That's a happy days term. Right. They were necking in the back seat. Right. It's what makes us walk holy. Right. It's one of those things, the fear of the Lord. It causes us to know God could take us any minute. Right. He could come back any minute. We need to be ready. Right. We need to walk in that holiness consistently and be looking for his appearing. [01:01:51] (35 seconds)
