God keeps stepping into all of that space and revealing himself.

The digital algorithm wants access to the mind so it can conform a person to keep scrolling, streaming, listening, and watching. The Word of God wants access to the mind so it can reform a person into life. Whatever has the greatest access to the mind has the greatest opportunity to shape the life, so the call is simple: learn it, love it, live it.

The Bible is God’s revelation of himself. Christianity is not people doing spiritual gymnastics to get God’s attention. Christianity is God searching for people, God creating, God speaking, God saying, “whoop whoop,” because God is terrible at hide and seek. Creation and conscience give general revelation, whispering that there is a Creator. Scripture and Jesus give special revelation, showing who that Creator is: holy, merciful, just, loving, and revealed fully in Christ.

Every sacrifice, Passover lamb, tabernacle, king, prophet, temple, and priesthood points to Christ.
