#SurrenderToChrist
“``And I'll end it here. The Bible isn't the story of god affirming our every desire. It's the story of god rescuing sinners from the bondage of their sin through Jesus Christ. The question isn't whether god affirms everything about us but the question better is, are we willing to surrender everything? Even our sinful desires, are we willing to surrender everything to him? Amen?”

#GospelCallsRepentance
“But what does the gospel say? You see, the gospel calls everyone to repentance. Homosexual or heterosexual. You're called to repentance. We each struggle with our own sin and we're called to turn from our sin and follow the one who can redeem us in the person of Jesus. Not every desire and this is something that this world needs to hear now. Not every desire that your body has is good. You can reject these desires. The gospel calls everyone to repentance. Turn from your life of sin and follow Jesus. Then, the gospel tells us our identity is in Christ.”

#WashedAndRedeemed
“I just love that line that it was some of you. the gospel can redeem it, right? So, Paul isn't just simply saying, If you're a swindler or you're sexually immoral or you're an idolater or adulterer or you're gay, you're screwed. That's not what he's saying here. He's saying, you've been washed and redeemed. You've been washed and redeemed. You've been sanctified by the spirit of our god. Forsake these sins. So, here it is very clear. Paul is calling these things sins. So, god Paul under the inspiration of the holy spirit says that homosexuality is a sin but not only that, it is nothing to celebrate.”

#LifelongSanctification
“Christians are to be sanctified and pure and I'm not saying you're gonna be perfect today or tomorrow. This is a lifelong journey of transformation. Paul says in Philippians that his one goal in life is to know Christ holy, and he himself says, I am nowhere near that. If Paul is in, where am I? So you see, yes, homosexuality is a sin. Yes, the Bible does not affirm LGBTQ lifestyles but guess what? You're not stuck in your sin. The gospel calls us all to repentance. Heterosexual or not, calls us all to have our identity in Christ and the gospel offers transformation.”
