#FinishedOnTheCross
“``His sacrifice was offered once and for all. There there does not need to be another sacrifice at all. That's what it, that's what he's saying. Christ's intercession and this is, I think, I think this is really important. Christ's intercession isn't a repeated sacrifice. We're he he he's not going to the cross over and over and over and over and over. No, no. It was a one time deal. But in that one time deal, it's a continual representation. The cross settled the penalty of sin forever.”

#JesusOurGuarantee
“Others inherited the position through their ancestry. Jesus' priesthood is entirely different. That's why again, the writer quotes Psalm one twelve, you are a priest forever from the order of Meheljedek. Now, the father didn't simply appoint Jesus, he guaranteed his priesthood forever. You see, Jesus is our guarantee. Jesus doesn't simply make salvation possible, he guarantees it. That's that word surety. He guarantees it for those who trust in him and believe in him.”

#FaithNotPerformance
“And so, our confidence is in Jesus. Not our performance. It doesn't matter if you're on stage. It doesn't matter if you're here early every time. It doesn't matter if you're the top thirty, zero givers to any church. It doesn't matter if you know every point of the law. It doesn't matter if you serve or you're here every time the doors are open. Don't get focused on performance based. Get focused on a passion based that Jesus died for you and that's why we worship him and we serve him.”

#LawFulfilledInChrist
“Everything before Christ was preparation. Everything after Christ is fulfillment. You see, Jesus himself said that he came to not abolish the law but to fill to fulfill it. Matthew chapter five verse 17. So, every sacrifice, every feast, every priest, every command ultimately pointed toward Jesus. The evidence is is found in Jesus' genealogy. Every priest under the law came from the tribe of Levi But Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, the royal tribe, not the priestly tribe. And under the Mosaic law, that would have been impossible. Yet, god intentionally established a new priesthood. This is important. He he established a new priesthood because Jesus didn't fit in the old system because Jesus came to replace the entire system as a whole. Through his death and resurrection, he fulfilled the law, cancelled the debt of sin against us when we accept him, when we believe in him, and he established a new covenant of grace, mercy, and love. No more sacrifice.”
