#BentNotBeyondJesus
“``Here's a parting word to the bent out of shape. Somebody came into worship, bent. Bent by what happened. Bent by what somebody said. Bent what someone did. Bent by what you lost. by what you cannot fix, bent by a child that you've been praying for, bent by marriage that you keep trying to hold together, bent by diagnosis, bent by disappointment, bent by your own mistakes. But hear the word of God. You may be bent, but you're not beyond Jesus. Yes, Your situation may be complicated, but it has not been beyond Jesus. Your family may be struggling, but it is not beyond Jesus. Your future may be uncertain, but it is not beyond Jesus. Your faith may be bruised, but it is not beyond Jesus. Bring Jesus your bent places and watch him straighten them out.”

#CrumbOfGrace
“I'm almost finished. Others see limitation, but she sees abundance. word from Jesus, touch from Jesus, one opportunity from Jesus, one breakthrough from Jesus, one crumb of grace from Jesus, a crumb from the master's table, can change the whole condition of a household. She understands something. A crumb from Jesus is more powerful than a feast from the world. Yes, sir. She refuses to accept Jesus' silence as Jesus' absence, and that's a word for someone. Jesus being silent does not mean that Jesus has left you. Jesus not immediately answering does not mean that Jesus' answer is no. Sometimes faith has to keep praying between the silence and the breakthrough.”

#FaithDuringSilence
“she says, yes, Lord. But even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table. I'm almost finished. Yes, sir. She refuses to accept Jesus' silence as Jesus' absence, and that's a word for someone.”

#GraceForTheOutsider
“The woman came to see Jesus because her life was bent out of shape, and her daughter's life was bent out of shape. But Jesus straightened the situation, but there's something deeper happening. Jesus is not just healing a body. He's demonstrating that the boundaries that people believe separated other people from God's grace are being challenged by the arrival of the messiah. outsider becomes an example of great faith. Here's what I mean. The outsider gets insider benefits. person others might have dismissed becomes the person that Jesus commends. The woman whom the disciples wanted to send away becomes the woman whose faith Jesus celebrates.”
