#PracticeMakesChampions
“Public excellence only happens when you have private discipline. You you you don't become an excellent or a runner like Carl Lewis just by starting to run at the race. You have to practice at the track at home. You don't become a a a gifted a gifted volleyball player simply by practicing at by playing in the game. You have to practice at home. You have to practice in the gym. This other one that I often see, We often have young men who play video games, and they can do all these fancy moves on the video game. And then they try to do it in the game by thinking that what they did with their fingers will work out in the game with their arms and their legs, only to find out that if you're not practicing it, you're not gonna get better.”

#IdentityInChrist
“Yeah. But they were educated in Babylon. They were surrounded by Babylonians. They were pressured by Babylonians. They was exposed to the Babylonian customs, but yet they did not fall prey to Babylonian identity. Their understanding, they knew who they were in Christ Jesus and they knew who they were in god. Can I tell you something? When you walk into the classroom this week, can't let the school determine who you are. You have to let your parents and god give you those values that lead you to a new direction. You you can't use social media to find out who you are. You can't let your friends determine who you are. You you can't let popularity control who you'll be. You can't let because god has made you the smartest person become boastful, but you have to stand in humility and speak truth and love.”

#BornForGreatness
“You see, what god placed on the inside of these children, you can't purchase at Walmart. Amazon cannot deliver it to you and yes, your parents came by for you. Teachers came manufactured within you because god has given you some ability, some intelligence, some creativity, personality in our young people as they begin to go back to school. Whether you be in preschool or daycare or whatever it is, god has created something in you that is calling you to be great.”

#DisciplineBreedsVictory
“Discipline is behind everything you do. Practice is behind everything you do. Conviction is behind everything you do and character is behind everything you do. You, as a young person, have to be willing to put in the work to get the results. don't know about y'all, but it costs something to be a winner. It cost something to be the valedictorian. It cost something to win at the track meet. It cost something to be a better Christian. To be a better Christian, you you not only have to pray and meditate but you have to seek the lord daily. Amen. If you wanna be a better Christian, you gotta pray without ceasing. You gotta be prepared to pray for your enemies and be faithful in your work toward god.”

#CalledNotConformed
“He's called our young people, and he done some things that would take them farther than the Jordan backpack, the Nike shoes, the apostato, whatever that shirt is called that they were. You know, the the special clothes. God has placed some stuff in them that that that the world has tried and will try to take out of them. The world tries to rename them, give them a different name, redefine them, reeducate them, reshape their imagination, and try to redirect the glory that god has for them because god wants us to understand that regardless of what you're doing, your environment may change but god does not. Amen.”

#ExcellentSpirit
“They don't see that you know when to speak and when to be silent and god's going get the glory because everything that god has for you, god will make a preference and a place for you. That's why Daniel chapter six verse three says, and then this Daniel was preferred above all the presidents, the princesses because of his excellent spirit. If god put something in you, he will set a time so people will understand that god has raised us, raised a standard in the school that you're attending or in the job that you're on or in the place that you travel that god wants you to understand. I created you for greatness.”

#GodGivenGifts
“thing I want you to know as young people, you got to believe in what god put in you. Amen. Notice the text says, god gave them knowledge and skills. You have to recognize that the gifts that you have, whether you be in college, school, middle school, high school, or whatever it is, god gave you knowledge and skills. The text says intelligence. Text says wisdom gives you capacity and strength. It gave you a guiding direction. It it it will cause some of us to excel in one area and others to excel in other areas.”

#PutGodFirst
“When you excel, it's not because of you. It's because of what god has placed in you and that has been nurtured. When you succeed, you cannot forget about it. Who brought you to the top of the pile? Because god wants me to tell you that if you're going to do anything, you have to have god first in your life. Yeah. So when you leave home and your parents are praying for you, When you're on the bus, find yourself a prayer that you can say in silence.”
