#PrayerIsPower
“A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian when the church is the only army that marches on their knees and I came to remind us this morning that one of our foundation is prayer. Amen? Do we have a praying church? Amen? Our foundation is prayer. Come on, give some praise to the Lord. It's prayer. Because when we pray, God answers our prayers. Amen? Amen. God answers our prayers.”

#ActionsOverWords
“Action speaks louder than words. For too long the the church, the contemporary church, the modern church have been excellent. We have been excellent with our words. We have been excellent in handling people, giving people the blueprint of God's love. We tell them God loves you and we show them the words with beautiful words and we sing with eloquency the love of God. We write inspirational statements and pieces. We write eloquent sermons. post beautiful quotes on social media.”

#FaithInAction
“But all these things means nothing until our action speaks louder than our words. The world is not looking for our blueprint anymore. I came to announce to you the world is not looking for our message anymore. The world is not looking for our beautiful architectural design. They are looking for the building. They want to see that our faith is backed with the hands and the feet of Jesus. The world is not looking for the blueprint anymore. Let me say one more time. But the world is looking”

#BelovedCommunityInAction
“They lived together. Now all who believed were together and they had all things in common. There was a forming of a new community. There was formation of the beloved community. They wanted to taste what it means to live a life that they share in abundance. And that is our action. God is forming us as an army. God is forming us as a people who are on a mission. Amen? God is forming us as a people who are marching on each and every day. Formation is critical because it shapes who we are.”

#RiversOfGoodWorks
“People of God, as we go into the places God has called us today, the beloved community is rooted in our identity, in our formation. So that whatever we are doing is flowing from God's love. Whatever we are doing, may we become like Christ. That out of us, the love of God will flow with a river of good works, the river of joy, the river of missions, the river of love because it's depending on our deeper relationship with God.”

#GraceNotCompulsion
“It is important. It's important to clarify that the early church did not practice a mandatory communalism of property. The bible said they had everything together in common but they were not practicing a mandatory communalism of everybody requiring to give their property because we see it. We see that it was only possible with the Qumran set. The Qumran set were required to do that. But the people of God who had houses had choices. It was volunteering for them to retain what they have or to give what they have, only to liquidate them to meet the needs of others.”

#RelationshipNotRituals
“God was marinating their heart with his love because until our heart is marinated, you dare not do anything for the love because it will be nothing. Because if we do everything, if we give ourselves for the world and we don't have a relationship with God, our heart is not right with God. All that we are doing is vapor. It goes out of nothing. What God is looking for is a relationship with you and me. God is looking for a unified heart. A heart that is allowing God”

#SpiritFormedAction
“Let us remember this morning that every action that we do speaks louder than our words but our actions must be formed. May we be empowered by the spirit of God as we go on to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Amen? Amen. As we go on as a beloved community to love boldly. Let us pray.”
