#BelieveInJesus
“That you see the nails go through the hands and the feet of Jesus, and you see him raised up in mockery and in shame, and he did it for you. That you see Jesus push up on his nail pierced hands and feet and cry out, it is finished for you. That you see Jesus buried in the grave and with it, with his burial, all of your sin and guilt and shame is buried. You see him risen on the third day conquering sin, death, and hell, and he did it for you. And so you entrust your life to him because he gave his life for you. That's what it means. And so my question this morning is, will you? Will you believe in Jesus Christ and find life in his name?”

#MaryFirstWitness
“Now Mary was the kind of person that the world would overlook. She was on the outside of every category. In fact, I already mentioned that she was a woman which in the first century would have put her way down the totem pole. Okay? She had no very few rights, and her testimony wouldn't hold up in court. She was also poor. That put her down another rung. She'd also been demonized, and you think about people that struggle in our realm with, like, mental illness and and how they're not valued as much as they should be. Right? So she just was on the outside of every category, but I think it's beautiful that she's the first witness to the empty tomb and the first witness to the resurrected Jesus. Why? Because that's the heart of the gospel, friends.”
