#BelieveToSee
“``So, we've seen the capacity to faint. We see the cause to faint but thirdly and I'm done, we see the cure of fainting. What is the cure of fainting? Look what David said in verse number 13, unless I had believed to see the goodness of god in the land of the living. David who had experienced many troubles confessed that he did not faint under the time of difficulty. You say, well, preacher, you told me that he did not see the goodness of god. You're right. He did not see the goodness of god. Then, why did he not faint? Are you ready for this? He said, I had fainted unless there's a word in here that we can't skip over. Unless I had What is it? What was that? Unless I had what? Unless I had believed to see the goodness of god in the land of the living. David was not walking by sight but David was walking faith.”

“want to see number one, David's angle. David's angle. What do you mean? You know what our angle is usually? If I see it, I'll believe it. That's the way the world looks on our troubles and our trials and our difficulties and the goodness of god. If I see it, I'll believe it. Thomas in the upper room in John chapter number 20 said, boys, except I see the wounds on his hands and except I thrust my hand into his side. He said, I believe. How many many of us are that way? That's why it's so easy to faint because we're not believing to see. We're seeing to believe.”

#DontFaintBelieve
“I want to ask you and beg of you. Don't faint. Don't faint. Don't quit. Don't lose heart. Don't give up now. Because you see, seeing is not believing but believing to see. As David did, that we will not faint. I wonder this morning before after we pray, if you'd slip out and say, god, I don't want to faint. I want to believe to see the goodness of god in the land of the living. Lord, I know on the other end of the process, you've already got it laid out and there's blessings upon blessings.”

#GodsGoodness
“You say, well, preacher, what is the goodness of the lord? Well, in scripture, god's goodness is his graciousness. is his kindness, his faithful dealings with his people and it's it is the way that god blesses you and I that he sustains us. He delivers us. He provides and forgives and remains faithful to all his promises. That's the goodness of the lord. And David said, if I did not see the goodness of the lord, I'd have fainted. I'd lost heart. I'd give up. I'da went home. I'da stayed home. I'd have been and discouraged.”
