#EternalOne
“``See, every king every king whoever sat on the throne had a birth certificate and a death certificate. Napoleon and fell. Caesar rose and fell. But Jesus has no birth certificate because he was never born into existence. He he stepped into time. Oh, god. And Jesus has no death certificate that stuck because they buried him on Friday, and hell couldn't hold what heaven owned. Whoo. God, everybody else has two dates with a dash. Jesus does not have a dash because he has eternity on both sides. Well, I'm trying to make you understand that he ain't no king. He ain't no prophet. He's the first and the last. I need you to believe he is the one.”

#HeHasTheKeys
“You gotta believe he's got the keys. See, imagine a man was trapped behind a door. No window, no exit, no way out. He beats on that door until his hands bleed. He screams until his voice gives out, and the door does not move. So he sits down, down, defeated, dejected because he believes the lock has the final word. But watch what happens here. While he's face down, somebody walks up to that door, and he is not knocking. Oh, god. I feel that. He's not begging. Why? Because he's got the keys. Not a copy, not a spare. He's got the original because he's the one who made the lock. And he says, don't be afraid.”

#KeysToEveryDoor
“I've got the keys of death and Hades. Friends, that's every locked door in your life. That diagnosis, locked door. That marriage, locked door. That prodigal child, locked door. That grief, locked door. That what if that's in your life that's keeping you from sleeping locked door. And you've been beating on that door with everything you got. Stop beating and start believing because Jesus is standing on the outside. door, wondering if you gonna let him in. He's got the keys.”

#FaithOverWhatIfs
“Y'all, I even had a what if about today. What if I don't clearly communicate for that brother who came to church as a last resort? What if I don't communicate effectively for that sister who has already given up on God and today is just a formality. So here's what I did, y'all. I I I took my what ifs for this season. And I took my what ifs and lay them at the feet of the word of God. And, y'all, here's what I discovered when I took my fears to the word, don't be afraid. I am the first and the last and the living one. I was dead, but look, I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades. Did you hear that word on this morning?”

#FocusOnChrist
“Once the disciples of Christ were on a boat on a sea, and while in a boat on a sea, a storm arises, a fierce storm, then these disciples see what appears to be a ghost walking on the water. It's Matthew chapter 14 verse 27. It records this account. Immediately, Jesus spoke to them, have courage. It is I. There it is. Don't be afraid. Whisper to your neighbor and say, believe him. Oh, god. Say with me, y'all. The disciples are frightened in a boat on a sea when Jesus comes to them walking on what possibly frightened them. And his words, don't be afraid, took their focus off of the sea and put it on Christ.”

#DivineVisionComfort
“John is experiencing a divine dream, if you will. He's seeing things that are rare, strange, heavenly. And as a result of his experience, John experiences fear. So much so that he falls motionless, still silent. Then at the very moment, he experiences a touch and a word. Here is the word. Don't be afraid. god. You know what, y'all? I've discovered that folks tell you not to be afraid when there is actually something to be afraid about.”

#HeSympathizes
“Y'all, Jesus understands, and and his understanding is not some distant hypothetical idealism. No. He understands so much that the writer says he sympathizes with us. Watch this y'all. The savior of the world sent from above, the one who was sent to save, sent to die. This Jesus understands and sympathizes with you. If that didn't give you encouragement, nothing else will. And as impossible implausible for you to accept, it is truth.”

#PowerOfHisTouch
“Oh, god. Friends, John's supernatural encounter caused him to fall out. He was petrified. He he was overwhelmed. He was laid out, likely face down, completely out of it. And then the one who caused him to fall out touched him. God, I'm feeling that already. I I don't wanna infuse too much emotion into my sermon, but I really need you to know that just a touch from Jesus makes all the difference in the world. How many miracles in scripture have been wrought with just a touch? How many lives have been transformed with just a touch? Is there anybody in the house who can testify when I found myself at my worst, it was just a touch.”

#HisDeathPaidSin
“listen to what the text says next. Listen. He goes on to say, I was dead. Not only believe he is the one, secondly believe he died. God. Somebody say believe he died. Look at your neighbor and say believe he died. Oh, Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, sent from heaven to earth, died. His death was horrific and necessary. He had to die. Pastor Brown, why all the death speak? Man, come on. Why must we always talk about Jesus dying? Here's the reason. Because it is through his death that our sin debt is paid. Y'all, there is no life without Christ's death.”

#HeIsAlive
“Jesus says, I didn't stay dead. Look, I am alive. My grandfather would testify. He got up on the third day with all power. Power to heal, power to restore, power to forgive. Here's my final point. Here's my final point. Well, my second to final point. Here it is. Number one. Here it is. Believe he is alive. Y'all, it don't get no simpler than this. Look at your neighbor and say, believe. Believe. He is alive.”

#WrestlingWithWhatIfs
“Y'all, can I share with you a secret? Sincerely, can I share with you a secret? I wrestle with fear. subtle, but it's real. Y'all, I know God has not given us a spirit of fear. I totally I totally get that. I understand the passage, and it it lives in my life. But there are moments and times when my concern grows to fear. And in fact, I I I think that's it. My concern grows to fear. Y'all, I've got so many people who count on me. I I've got too many people that I'm concerned for, so many things that that I need to accomplish, so many issues I've got to address. So my concern grows to fear. And and here's the fear factor. Here it is. What if? That that's it, y'all. What what if, friends? I can literally find myself paralyzed with the what ifs of my life. What if she gets worse? What if he doesn't make it? What if it doesn't happen? What if it does happen? Family, if I am not careful, I can what if myself into a frenzy of possibilities and failures. And I don't believe I'm by myself on this morning.”

#TakeCourage
“That's all I'm trying to get you to see, y'all. You gotta take your focus off whatever it is that has you distracted and ensure whatever has you timid, whatever has you distrustful, whatever has you distant from the lord, whatever is standing in between you and god, whatever you believe is so great that you're unworthy. Hear the words of Christ. Take courage. is I. Don't be afraid.”

#DontMissTheKeys
“Him. Then you gotta believe he is the one. You gotta believe he died. You gotta believe he is alive. But y'all don't miss the keys, y'all. Don't miss the keys. You overlooked the keys. Look at the text again. Jesus said, don't be afraid. I'm the first and the last and the living one. I was dead. But look, I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and hades. Somebody may wanna pass about what kind of sermon with this. This sermon is what you call a gospel presentation. sermon helps me to understand why we come to church every Sunday. This sermon helps me understand how I'm a live the life I was created Here's the last one. Here's the last one, y'all. You gotta believe he's got the keys. Oh, got somebody. You hold god. Go ahead. You can leave now. You gotta believe he's got the keys.”

#FallenAtHisFeet
“the writer. John has had a difficult journey, beloved. He chose to believe in Jesus. And as a result of his faith in Christ, he was exiled to an island. He was separated from others because he chose to believe in the one. And while isolated on this island, John experiences what is known as a revelation. Somebody say revelation. Revelation. Revelation is a powerful vision where he saw things that were super in nature. John saw unusual things. He saw stranger things, but I just want you to draw your attention to his experience from the passage that guided me in my season. John says, when I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his hand on me and said, stop right there.”

#ThisMomentForSalvation
“Every Sunday, you have an opportunity to do something with the sermon. You can process it. You can internalize it. We can just forget about it. And I'm convinced, beloved, there's somebody here today. You're saying, Lord, is that what you did for me? Would you love me that much that you made a way for me to experience life and life eternal? Here it is, y'all. If you never knowingly and willingly received the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior, if you've never reaped the benefits of this Revelation one seventeen and eighteen gospel, This moment is for you.”

#BeSureOfYourSalvation
“And you may be thinking, pastor Brown, I I already got this straight, but did you really? See, when I open up talking about my fears and my concerns, see, that is how the enemy can can weasel his way in and confuse things that we've known for a while, but I need for you to be clear on what you know. And if you can say, pastor, I'm just not sure if I received the gospel of Jesus Christ. These individuals are here waiting on you now. They're not gonna embarrass you. They simply wanna pray with you and take you to scriptures and show you how you can know that you know that you know. Secondly, you may say, pastor, man, I'm already a believer. I I received the Lord Jesus as my savior and Lord, but but I need a church home.”
35s
#ComeForwardNow
“Listen, they're gonna sing a song, and when you hear that first note, I want you to grab your belongings. If you need to get your salvation straight, come forward. If you need to become a part of this faith community, grab your stuff and come forward. Don't worry about who's next to you. Don't worry about who you rode with. We'll Uber your home. But take that step of faith to receive the Lord Jesus Christ to become a part of this church. Y'all the doors of the church open. Why don't you come? Come on. Come on. Come on. We're waiting on you. We're waiting on you. Why don't you come?”

#ResurrectionPower
“Whatever you came in with, I need you to hold that up against the fact that he's alive. Whatever it is that that causes you angst, I need you to hold that up against the fact that he is alive. He is not dead. He rose, and his overcoming power overcomes any and everything that has you troubled on today. The resurrection power resurrects every deadness in your life. The empty grave empties out the sin and deadness in our lives.”
