#PlaceForEveryone
“See, there's some people being baptized today. Society said, you're not any good, but our god said, you're good enough for my house. There's some people that's taking next steps at evidence church. Oh, I know it's not as dignified and sanctified sometimes. And and there's tears and there's crying and there's shout. I know that. But sometimes it's in those moments that God has spoke to someone that says, I got a place for you at my table. See, we gotta be careful because religion says there's no place for you, but the gospel says there's a place for everyone.”

#WorshipWhenYouDontFeelIt
“Sometimes obedience is when we're sitting on the outside, but inside, we're screaming the top of our lungs. And the ideas that we come into obedience with our heart and on the inside, not just what we're doing on the outside. And and there have been times in my Christian walk, I'm just gonna kinda just profess this first. Sometimes it feels like I'm going through the motions. That's not phony. That's what worship is. Worship is when I don't feel like it, and I still do it.”

#ObedienceInEveryMoment
“Because there's one thing to be obedient to your job, it's another thing to be obedient to God. It's one thing to be obedient to school, it's another thing to be obedient to God. It's one thing to say you done something for God, it's another thing to be obedient in the moment with God. My prayer is today that you'll understand that it's like for each and every one of you, not just the people that being baptized today, that God has an obedient step for every single one of us.”

#TurnThePage
“Some of us need to turn the page in our turn the page in our spiritual walk. Some of us need to not stop what we don't understand and flip it to where we do understand. And that's what worship and obedience looks like. It means I'm gonna turn the page and I'm gonna wait on God to do something different than that he's already done. Because he may not show up in my life this time like he did the last time. And another thing he might have said is he might have said, just unroll the scroll, you know, because it's a scroll.”

#UnrollTheScroll
“What you need to learn to do is just unroll the scroll. What you need to learn to do is just trust God. When everybody else says you can't, say, I think I can. Thomas de Trane taught me that. I think I can. I think God was in that. I think I can. I think I can. And I I learned my key scripture. His mercies are new every morning.”

#RoomAtGodsTable
“And I'm sure when that god saw me walking into church twenty one years ago, I guarantee you, you might have looked at me and thought, hey, I want you in my church, but there were some people looking at me because I've been to a few churches that said, I hope you don't come back. But I'm thankful that I met a God that said, you got room at my table. You can come with me. I've got a name for you. Oh, I'm telling you, that's good preaching right there.”

#ObedienceContinues
“And that's what happened to this preacher twenty one years ago. I walked into a church, and I felt rejected by a society. But I came in contact with a god that said there's something more I want you to do, which brings me to point number two. I told you only had two points, and this is it. Obedience continues with the next step. It continues.”

#RejectedButCalled
“And that had to rock his ever soul, thinking, wait, he was rejected? He was an outcast? And he didn't even open his mouth? And he's probably thinking about all the times he was rejected, and and everyone said, can't serve God. You can't be you need to stay on the outside court. Matter of fact, he would have stayed would have been where Jesus turned over the tables where they done business. Yeah. In other words, it'd be like, today, it'd be like, we'll let you in the gift shop, but we won't let you in the sanctuary.”
