God calls each of us to be world changers, but this begins with intentional self-discipline and spiritual training. Just as physical exercise benefits our bodies, training in godliness shapes our character for both this life and eternity. We are urged to reject distractions and myths, to immerse ourselves in the words of faith, and to become living examples in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. As you devote yourself to these practices, your progress will be visible to others, and your life will become a pattern for others to follow. God’s power works through your daily choices, and your growth in godliness is a testimony that can transform the world around you. [08:56]
1 Timothy 4:6-16 (ESV)
If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you need to intentionally train yourself for godliness this week, and what specific step will you take to begin that training today?
God has called you to be His co-laborer, working together with Him to bring about growth and transformation in your world. While God gives the increase, He invites you to plant, water, and build faithfully in the lives of those around you. Your obedience and willingness to serve can impact generations, just as one person’s actions—whether in faith or disobedience—can shape history. Embrace your role as God’s fellow worker, knowing that your efforts, empowered by His Spirit, are never in vain. Start with those closest to you, pouring encouragement, wisdom, and love into their lives, and trust God to multiply the fruit. [32:26]
1 Corinthians 3:5-11 (ESV)
What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building. According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Reflection: Who is one person in your sphere of influence that you can intentionally encourage or invest in today, trusting God to bring growth through your partnership?
To be Christlike is to let the fruit of the Spirit flow through every part of your life—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are not just ideals but the very evidence of God’s work in you, distinguishing you from the works of the flesh. As you yield to the Spirit, you become a source of nourishment and hope for others, offering them the fruit of grace rather than the fruit of drama or strife. Let God’s Spirit prune and shape you, so that your life overflows with the character of Jesus, changing the atmosphere wherever you go. [01:02:24]
Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Reflection: Which fruit of the Spirit do you sense God inviting you to grow in today, and how can you intentionally practice it in a specific relationship or situation?
You are created in God’s image, called to take your place in this world with confidence and humility. No one else can be you, and God has given you unique authority and purpose. Claim your space, walk in your identity as a child of God, and refuse to be defined by the opinions of others or by past failures. As you stand firm in who God made you to be, you become a blessing and a source of encouragement to others, helping them discover their own identity in Christ. Embrace your role as a ruler and priest, representing God’s kingdom in every sphere of your life. [45:07]
Genesis 1:26-28 (ESV)
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Reflection: In what area of your life do you need to step into your God-given authority and identity, and what is one way you can walk in that confidence today?
True world change begins with personal transformation—being the change you want to see in the world. This means humbling yourself, answering God’s call, practicing radical kindness, and letting your life be a living testimony of Christ’s love. Go the extra mile, offer forgiveness, and treat all people—family, friends, strangers, and even enemies—with the same mercy and grace you have received. As you embody the fruit of the Spirit and serve others with joy, you become a living display of God’s goodness, inspiring others to seek Him. Let your daily actions, words, and attitudes reflect the heart of Jesus, and watch as God uses you to bring hope and healing to your world. [01:07:06]
Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV)
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Reflection: What is one practical act of kindness or forgiveness you can offer today that will reflect Christ’s love and light to someone in your life?
Today, we gathered around the call to become world changers—people who, by the grace and power of God, leave the world better than we found it. The journey begins with a deep hunger to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus, not just for our own sake, but so that we can fulfill the will of the Father and impact those around us. We are reminded that the Holy Spirit is given to us for this very purpose: to empower us to be like Christ and to execute God’s will on earth. Change is not just a one-time event but a continual process, a daily surrender and partnership with God to remove what hinders us and to grow in every area of our lives.
We looked at the lives of historical and biblical figures—Mother Teresa, Billy Graham, Moses, Esther, Mary, and others—who changed the world by embracing their God-given purpose. Each of us carries seeds of greatness within, and God calls us to cultivate them. This requires intentional training in godliness, discipline, and a commitment to be examples in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Our words have the power to build up or tear down, to bring hope or despair, and our lives should be patterns for others to follow.
The call to change the world is not about fame or influence in the eyes of the masses, but about faithfulness in the sphere God has given us—our families, friends, workplaces, and communities. We are co-laborers with God, and our obedience or disobedience can affect generations. The acronym “CHANGE” was unpacked as a practical guide: Claim your place in the world, Humble yourself, Answer the call and problems, Niceness (kindness), Grow in every area, and Evangelize. Each step is a call to action, requiring both God’s grace and our effort.
Ultimately, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—must be evident in our lives. True change starts within, as we allow God to prune us, renew our minds, and transform our relationships. We are called to be the change we want to see, to embody Christ in every interaction, and to let our good works shine as a testimony to the world. The world is waiting for the sons and daughters of God to manifest, and it begins with our willingness to change, grow, and serve.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV) — > For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
No one can beat me being me. Come on. And no one can beat you being you. So claim your space. Don't be so shy and timid that it robs you from taking you. Taking your place. Stand strong in the grace that's been given to you. Romans 5 says, Know who you are. Look people in their eyes and be with confidence. You can be a person with that. Don't talk a lot, but when you open your mouth, people will listen. Be confident. Confident in who you are. Take your place in the body of Christ. Take your place. ``You have the answers. You have the solutions to people's problems. But be the change first. Be what you want to see in the world embody that change. [01:06:42] (33 seconds) #ActivateYourCalling
I could pray for you and you can fall out and experience an encounter with God, but the real change is what you do every day. I can't lay hands on you for this type of change. I can break the powers of darkness over your life, but you got to do the work to repent, renounce and walk away and walk out of that. This is something that you have to strive for every day. Out of your relationship with Christ, say, I need to grow. I need to grow, Lord, help me. And he'll lead you, he'll guide you. He'll take your minds in a path that you never thought of, areas that you didn't think that needed to be changed. He'll start changing, and you'll get victory on one area to the next to the next to the next. You'll go from victory to victory, faith to faith, strength to strengthen.
