``Courage in Christian life is not an option. It is part of the walk in obedience. He who obeys must obey with courage. Because obeying God requires courage, to leave a land for a place you do not know where it is. The only thing you have is the certainty that God is leading your life. [01:07:16] (30 seconds)  #CourageInObedience

God calls you to trust in the promise. Courage to conquer. Trust in the word. Courage to obey. And trust in the presence. Courage to go on. That's why Luther said that the scriptures are the true treasure of the church. Because they show this God who walks with us. This God who guarantees us the way. This God, who is the all-powerful God. [01:09:38] (38 seconds)  #TrustThePromise

That's why you can't understand a believer who doesn't have the Bible. A believer who doesn't read the Bible. You can't understand. You are failing in your Christian life. If you don't have intimacy with the sacred scriptures, you don't know your God. It is the Bible that shows God. It is Jesus who shows God. God reveals himself through the scriptures, through the Son, through nature. [01:10:15] (32 seconds)  #BibleRevealsGod

Revival is when you go back to the scriptures and they light a flame in your heart so that you seek God. So that you break before him. So that you are attentive to your voice. And then when he speaks, your heart melts. When he speaks, your soul prostrates. [01:11:27] (22 seconds)  #RevivalThroughScripture

The true courage is not this. The true courage is born from the conscience of God's presence. God is in his holy temple. Be silent before him, all the earth. It's when he says, take your sandals off your feet, because the place where you are is holy. It's when your heart is taken to act for the glory of God, in the name of God, to honor God. This is revival. [01:12:47] (39 seconds)  #HolyGroundCourage

That is why Luther, and I end with this phrase of him, he also said that the faith that does not risk anything, does not realize anything, and does not change anything. That is why the church has to have courage. Is why the believer has to have courage to do and to live things humanly, often impossible. [01:23:25] (30 seconds)  #FaithThatRisks

What would be of us if it weren't the word of the Lord, right? What would be of us? What a good thing the Lord resolved in these last days to speak through the Son through his word. How good we have the Bible. How good we have Jesus Christ. [01:33:19] (21 seconds)  #GodInspiredScripture
