#FearIsTheEnemyOfLove
“So what is the greatest enemy of love? So often we think, well, the greatest enemy of love has to be hate, but that's not the greatest enemy of love. What is the thing that holds us back so much from living life for God. It isn't simply a lack of faith. What's the thing that also often keeps and holds the spectrum living a life of love? It's just not busyness and messed up priorities. Fear is the enemy of love. Fear is the enemy of love. Fear keeps us from living and experience the life that God wants us to live. Fear holds us back in our relationships with our heavenly father, with one another, with living that life of love does.”

#PracticeLove
“God's love is perfect, our love is not. God's love is perfect, our love is not. But the more that we live in God's love and the more that we live out of God's love, what happens? Our love grows more perfect. In other words, the more that we are in the love of God and the more that we are living out of the love of God, not our own strength, the more that we practice love does, the more perfect our love grows to be. It's a matter of practice.”

#LiveInLove
“So what's your fear? Where do you need to step out? Where do you need to just move to that edge and just make room for God's love to abound and and for the fear of the enemy to be diminished and just disappear? Live out of the love of God, live in the love of God, live like Jesus live, that lavish life of all empowering love. And in time, it becomes a little bit more perfect and fear just tends to fade away.”

#GodsPerfectLove
“I think scripture paints a very different picture because the love of the heavenly father is expressed in a giving love. He sent his one and only son into the world. And God's love is expressed dying. He sent his son as that atoning sacrifice for us, for all of our sins. And the love of the heavenly father is expressed in a forgiving love. That atoning sacrifice of Jesus removes sin so that we can have confidence in our relationship with our heavenly father.”

#LoveOverFear
“Because the more that you practice living a life of love does, the more naturally it comes to be living out of the love of the heavenly father and in the love of the heavenly father as we live a life of love. And what is another one of those results when we live a life of love? When we keep on practicing, living like Jesus lived a life of love, just naturally fear begins to diminish. Doesn't mean it goes away. It doesn't mean it doesn't ever rear its head again. But the more that you practice living a life of love does, fear shrinks in your life.”

#LoveInAction
“And God's love is a love that is expressed in blessing, giving us the equipping, the empowering of the Holy Spirit so we don't have to live this life on our own strength and giving us loving relationships with other brothers and sisters and people in our life, people that can urge us on to step out of fear and to step into a life of love. So following God's example of love, living a life of love requires sacrifice, forgiveness, generosity, and blessings. And not all of those things come naturally to us or at least to me.”

#ChooseLove
“And I clearly remember in that moment, am I going to live out of fear? I'm going to stop asking the questions. I'm going to stop leaning in. I'm going to remove any space to be a part of a redemption or a restoration story. And I'm just gonna live out of fear or I'm gonna live out of God's love. It was a choice.”

#FearToLove
“And so often the reason that has taken place is because fear has taken up residence in our life, and fear is winning the day, and it is diminishing the love in our life. And if that's the case for you today, may the holy spirit just bring that to light in all of us where fear is taking up residence, and may you know that that is not god's best for you, that he wants to release you from that fear, and he wants to give you a life where you get to live a life full of love.”
