#GodFirstPosition
“God said, I want to see in this moment right now what you will choose to do? Make some bread for me first, Elijah said, and then you can make some for yourself. The word first is everything. God was establishing for them and for you and I the order of things. It's a beautiful thing. Provision is secondary, position comes first. God must have the first position in your life in every area of your life. He must be first. So if you've only got a little bit, it's yours, God. And then I'm gonna trust that you are gonna keep your word and provide for me everything that I need.”

#PutGodFirstNow
“When resources shrink, our instincts kick in automatically. take over. We cling, we calculate, we conserve, we hold on to very tightly. Mine. But God steps right in the middle and says, will you put me first in spite of your current season? Because everything is a season, God said, will you put me first now or will you turn your back on me and try to keep something that doesn't even belong to you? It's the truth whether you know it or not that God always puts us first.”

#ObedienceBeforeProvision
“God's provision will always follow our obedience, not the other way around. We want God to give us first and then we obey. Thank you, Lord. Alright, then. I'm a go. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. God said, obey first, then I'll bless you. want to receive provision first, and then some of us then might obey. It ain't even guaranteed, which is even worse. It's a worldly mindset. Anyone can give you something when it ain't that big of a deal to give it to you. If you ask a millionaire for a dollar, you're like, I'll you $10. That don't mean nothing to him. It's like him throwing a penny at you. It doesn't mean a thing. But when obedience costs you something, your comfort, your security, your very last dollar, that is when priority is shown, when it costs you something.”

#MakeGodFirst
“He was asking then and he's asking us now to be made first in our lives. So many things, so many people are fighting for to be first in your life, and yet none of them have ever done, could ever do what God does for you and every day. Scarcity has a way of revealing what you truly trust. When you only got but a little bit, it will reveal your heart.”

#PriorityRevealedInCrisis
“then there are other seasons in life that are just the opposite of that. Those times when you feel like if one more thing happened, I'm going to lose my mind. Seasons when you got way more money than you got money. Creditors just they call you home, they call your cell phone, they call you work, they're just harassing you constantly to get their money. When physical pain is a daily occurrence, a daily occurrence, when you need yet another operation, you need another procedure, another treatment. Here's the point. These are moments when God wants to see from you and I if he is still the priority. Those are the moments. God's not impressed when everything is going good, and then you serving and giving and doing all. God's not impressed with that. God said, I want to see when all hell is breaking loose in your life, will you still make me the priority?”

#ObeyInScarcityAndAbundance
“God can use anyone anywhere to serve his purposes because nothing is out of his control. And secondly, God wants us to prove to him that he is the priority by obeying him in scarcity as well as in abundance. I'm gonna say that again. God wants us to prove to him that he is the priority by obeying him in scarcity as well as in abundance. Elisha tells his widow after she tells him, Listen, I don't got nothing for you. I got enough of me and my son, and we're going eat it and die. He said, Don't be afraid. He said, Don't fear. He said, first make me a cake, a little piece of cake, a little piece of bread, bring it to me. Then after that, then you go make yourself and your son the same.”

#ChosenForPurposeNotPossessions
“And I love it because God shows us something. He shows us that he chooses on purpose someone with almost nothing to show that he chooses people because of his purpose and it has nothing to do with their abundance, how much they have. It has nothing to do with that. When he chooses you or I for something, it's because he's already he's already preplanned something for you and me to do. It has nothing to do with what you have, how much you have. He's showing us that even for those that may feel like, Lord, I don't know how you can how you can use me. I came to tell you today, he absolutely wants to use you, and he will use you if you just tell him yes.”

#NoGrayAreaGodFirst
“Because there's no gray area when it comes to God's kingdom agenda. God demands to be placed first above everything, number And he either is right now in your life or he's not. And you know the truth. But more importantly, he knows the truth. You can tell me whatever you want to tell me. God knows if he is your priority right now or not.”
