“When you make up in your mind, I'm going to rejoice. You can rejoice. When you make up in your mind, I'm going to have a pitiful day. Amen. It will turn out to be exactly what you desire it to be. So, we want to bless you cuz I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go into the house of the Lord."”
“But speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this man, "Go," and he goeth. And to another, "Come," and he cometh. And to my servant, "Do this," and he doeth it.”
“The dedication and the oath and the commitment that we've made to our country, why can't we make that same commitment to our Lord? Want to give you just a little comparison about just how challenging it was to serve our country?”
“If you can go through and endure that type of training, why do we expect when we get in the house of the Lord that it won't take some training, some dedication, some endurance to ensure that eternal life will be our home? It requires dedication.”
“But even in that, you need some encouragement. one of the greatest warriors of all times, uh, King David, even when he went through challenges, he had to encourage himself and say, "I ain't got nobody else to pick me up. I'm in a situation where I don't have any, um, cheerleaders around me.”
“Everybody that you think is on your side may not be on your side. And everybody who's cheering for you may not be cheering for you. And I'm glad you do have cheerleaders. But what happen when you don't have somebody cheering for you? What happens when you don't have somebody encouraging you and somebody pushing you?”
“Knowing that the God in whom I serve will never leave me. Neither will he ever forsake me. Glory to God. In our lesson this morning or in this um study by Matthew, it really begins to teach us that this centurion who's a military leader had so much love and dedication for his servant.”
“When we know who Jesus is and when we know the type of power that he have, why are we searching for things in other places? When we know what Jesus possess, why aren't we going after Jesus to get what he has? Because it will satisfy the things that we're looking for.”
“I had been serving a long time, had started out in the enlisted ranks and then became an officer and I thought when I became an officer when I can give out instructions, I really had it made. I really didn't know that I didn't have it made. I just took on some additional responsibilities.”
“A lot of us don't pray in the morning when we get up. A lot of us don't pray in the afternoon when But when Okay. Um I I I know we don't have children's church today, so I ain't I ain't going to cuss too much, but when H E L L hit you, you better know how to pray. You better know who to call on. You better learn how to practice it and put it into real life.”
“When I tried him, I had no more worry because all those things that used to fall through my fingers. Now I had extra. Now I had more. Now I had And the things I used to have to pay to fix my car, that was money I kept in my pocket because my car didn't tell.”
“If you don't have some prayer in your life, your mind will start talking to you late at night. When you hear bombs going off and you hear people screaming and you don't know what to do, your mind will begin to play tricks on you and begin. And so you got to learn how to pray that God will keep your mind.”
“How many of us can humble ourselves even when we are in positions of authority, positions of leadership to understand that the ultimate leader, the ultimate authority is still in Christ Jesus.”
“If God was going to do for you or if Jesus was going to do for you based on your belief, based on your faith, would you have what you ask for? We often say we have not because we ask not. But even when we ask, sometime we ask in a midst. We ask for something but we don't truly believe and we don't truly have the faith that God will do it.”
“You may not believe in your brakes, but every time you match them by faith, you don't think that that car going to keep rolling. I'm just I'm just saying that's a simple analogy. You don't know nothing about those brakes, but by faith, you put your foot on it and you know that stop sign, red light, or whatever, you ain't going out into the intersection.”
“We have to understand God chooses you in a particular time frame but you may not be able to walk into your leadership abilities or your kingship until you begin to do all the thing as God prepares you to do all the things God has called you to do.”
