#KeepPraying
“``How many how many of us have asked for prayer one time? We get prayer, gosh, we feel so encouraged. We go home, go to bed, wake up, and it's still the same. And you think, well, prayer didn't work, so you stop. We have to keep praying. We have to keep picking up that sword of the sword of the spirit and praying it. Praying scripture is not a one and done thing. It's a constant picking up your sword of the spirit day after day after day. We have to keep praying. And while we declare and strengthen, we absolutely must pray the prayer of praise.”

#SwordOfTheSpirit
“The great enemy, such as discouragement, anxiety, fear, worthlessness, failure, depression, addiction, denial, guilt, shame, hopelessness, trauma, jealousy, envy, hate, brokenness, divorce. The list goes on and on. It comes at us, and the only way that we can fight any and all of this is through the sword of the spirit. This book right here, the words of God, words that without a doubt are the most lethal weapons we can pick up and fight with and win with. When you're battling for your life, for your kids, for your friends, for healing, restoration, freedom, redemption, you have to use this sword in every single battle. We cannot sit back, stand down, and continue to wring our hands, hoping that someday this pain will go away. Take it from me, it doesn't work. We have to go on the offensive.”

#PraiseThroughPain
“And then I'd worship. I could barely stand on Sundays, but I'd raise my hands anyways. There are times I couldn't sing, but I'd raise my hands anyways because I was grasping for God. Some of you may wonder why, at times, we sing two to three songs at the beginning of every service, and why we sing some choruses over and over again. Well, it's for me, and it's for those of us who are hurting, who need to hear the words over and over and over until we find our voice, until we are able to raise our hands, until we have the strength to grab hold of those words and those promises, to praise God, to sing words of truth enough times until we are able to declare who God is and to find our strength renewed for another week. The prayer of praise, a prayer that makes us look for God, reach for God, and hold on for dear life.”

#DailyBibleHabit
“So now, I make a point of reading the bible, listening to the bible, and praying every day. Sometimes, it's just for five minutes, other times, it's for thirty minutes. I just I just wanna make sure that I'm in touch with God somehow, some way, every day. And I keep writing my three by five verses. This is my growing stack, continues to grow because I want to be prepared to go into battle when the enemy hits. I want to make sure that I know who God is and how great and powerful God is, so I read and I pray God's words into existence, so that every day, I can declare the goodness of God no matter what comes.”
