#ObeyThroughStorms
“``Many times the storms that we're facing, we're calling the devil and it's actually Jesus Because he's saying here that I am developing you for something that you may not even see right now. I am developing you for what you're gonna be able to do next year, and I am so enamored with the storm that I'm missing the process in which the storm is taking me through. The disciples were exactly at this point where Jesus told them to be, and they still find themselves fighting winds and waves. My question this morning is what happens when you obey God and you still walk into a storm?”

#StayFocusedNotDistracted
“Peter didn't sink because of the waves. He sank because he trusted the waves more than the word that Jesus gave him. He didn't sink because the wave was there. He focused on the wave and the wind, and he got distracted. What's distracting you? What is it that's causing you to crash out every two days? Because some things that you are in sin with is not due to the devil leading you to sin. It's due to you're distracted. And when you're distracted I want y'all to really hear me. When you're distracted, the devil manipulates your distraction. That's his assignment. John ten ten. His assignment is to manipulate. His assignment is to destroy. His assignment is to get us outside of what God is calling us to. So the devil will take a storm in your life, allow you to focus on the storm, and now you're back in a cycle of sin because instead of going to God, you focus on the storm.”

#JesusNeverFails
“Point number three, and we out. Your faith may waver, but Jesus never will. It's okay. Your faith may actually waver. You may not actually have the level of faith that you wanna have right now, but Jesus, he will never fail you. Never. He may not give you what you want. He may not give you what you desire, but he'll never fail you. And I truly believe I had to just leave you with a deposit of something this morning. I wanna be able to encourage you that your fidelity to god has to be your faith increasing.”

#ImperfectFaithPerfectSavior
“The goal, even with the shield of faith, isn't to have perfect faith, but to know that you and I have a perfect savior. None of us are gonna have perfect faith. It's times even now, just being honest with you guys, when I fly, I'm still like, this could be the last moment. I don't really know. Like, I'm just being honest. I struggle with it. But even with a flight, as minute and comical that is, I'm like, lord, your will be done. I truly believe that many Christians, they are saved, but they haven't allowed the lord to be lord in their life. What does that mean? I'm saved. I'm going to heaven. But when he's lord, he leads your decisions. He leads when you're going through distractions. He leads everything that you do.”
