#RighteousnessByGrace
“``That we don't do righteous things to get acceptance from God but because we are accepted by God, a new life has begun, a new life with him, a new life aligned with him. It's who we are now and we begin to put on this new kind of righteousness, truth and integrity and honesty and purity and forgiveness and justice and obedience and humility. The positional righteousness we have because of Jesus, it produces the practical righteousness. It's not the other way around. Or else we try to take a lot of credit and we become self righteous, which is the opposite of what God wants for us.”

#CoveredByChrist
“The truth is we actually come we actually come with our receipts. Yes. And it's it's all the stuff we've done. And Jesus said, yeah. I've covered all of that. I paid for it, all of it in full. And when we receive that, when you receive that, immediately, you're gonna be covered in the righteousness of Christ. You get to become a new person, The old life is gone and a new life begins.”

#StopWeaponizingWords
“Sometimes Christians have a tendency to do this, don't we? I mean, unfortunately, there is a reputation and a version of Christianity today that sees the battle as with other people. And then instead of actually being Christ like, words get weaponized in common threads. Judgment gets aimed at people. Anger gets deployed at people. Sometimes we even see mocking and rage and hate and slander and superiority, and that is so far from the heart of Jesus. Because, you see, when we make each other the enemy, the enemy wins.”

#DailyReconnectToChrist
“Like Jesus said, our enemy is a thief. And here's the deal. He he cannot steal what Jesus has done for us. There's nothing he can do about that. Yeah. But he will settle if he could get us disconnected from it. Yeah. He will settle if he can get us disconnected from it and just slowly steal our joy and our gratitude and our peace and our compassion and our zeal. This is why Paul talks about this intentionality of like, we gotta put it on, We gotta get it in place because it's like an everyday reconnecting our hearts to the good news of Jesus. Everyday reconnecting our hearts to Christ. Everyday reconnecting our hearts to Christ likeness.”
