“``So God decided to visit this planet, did so in the person of Jesus, and he came for one reason and one reason only. Now don't miss this because this is why it's so personal. He came to bring you back to himself. You're fallen. You're sinful. That catechism makes you brought back home. We're very, very fallen from God, and he is angry at this world. I love it when people trying to tell me that this idea of the wrath of God is just so archaic. Well, people get mad at people. Why can't God be mad at his creation? And he is. And and yet, instead of unleashing his wrath on us, he decided to send his son who bore God's wrath upon himself on that cross and died for your sin and for mine so that you might be brought back to his life as you believe and trust in him and as you follow him. He has revealed himself personally to you and me in Jesus.”

“And so add it all up. We're gonna we're gonna have some fun at the end of this time. But add it all up. People wonder all the time today precisely how and even if does God speak to us and reveal himself to us. The three p's. God has chosen to get our attention from thinking about him plainly in creation, learning about him propositionally in the Bible, then experiencing personally in Jesus. Plainly, propositionally, personally.”

“So here's how this works. People look around this world at the universe as a whole. They look at its beauty, its intricacy, its complexity, its majesty, and something in them tells them that it couldn't have gotten here all on its own. Think about what the psalmist is saying. He's saying that creation screams glory to us. That that word glory simply means radiance. It means something's radiating from it, the outpouring of the existence of God through nature. Nature also screams to us design, that something so beautiful and intricate could not have occurred on its own. It tells us that there must be a grand clockmaker to make such a beautiful clock. God has revealed himself plainly in creation.”

“I get into this. Next time you're having significant doubts, and some of you are doubters like me. Next time you have significant doubts, I I challenge you to take it to Jesus. And the irony is is that you're talking to the very guy that you're not. Right? You're talking to the God whom you don't know if he even exists, but you're telling him that you're having these doubts. And don't worry, he can take it. He's been dealing with doubters for years, guys like Thomas and Jamie. And as you go to him as your friend and your Lord, you will find yourself talking to very one you're doubting. And again, over time, he's good for this, he's going to reveal. It's up to you. I I don't wanna get too charismatic on you. I don't wanna try to explain too many stories, I've heard so many stories in twenty five years of being a Christian of people who have come to God, had God with him, had the doubts, and all that, and just said, I just need a word from you. And guess what? He's good for it.”
