#DeadToSinAliveInChrist
“So that the Christian goes under the waters to represent their dying to sin, and then they come up out of the waters to represent their coming into new life. The whole chapter is about this theme of our attachment or our binding, it's mysterious to the lord Jesus Christ. So here are two more verses, verses ten and eleven from the same chapter. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.”

#SmallShiftBigChange
“The baptism happens all in a moment. It takes about four seconds for it to happen, but it represents a lifetime of change. Haley Jansen talked about the long wait that she had to experience. Then she had this thing, and I loved it. She said there was this small shift. She began to go to weekly young adults. She had life giving conversations there. She felt seen and understood, and things began to slowly change.”
