In our spiritual journey, both service and relationship with Jesus are essential. The story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10 illustrates this balance. Martha busied herself with serving Jesus, while Mary chose to sit at His feet and listen to His teachings. While Martha's service was valuable, her distraction caused her to miss the deeper spiritual moment that Mary embraced. This teaches us that our service should flow from our time spent with Jesus, ensuring that our actions are rooted in a deep, personal connection with Him. Serving is crucial, but it should not overshadow our relationship with Jesus. We must find a balance where our service is an extension of our time spent at Jesus' feet. [39:31]

And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, 'Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.' But the Lord answered her, 'Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.'"
