1. "Time is the one thing that simultaneously in our lives feels unending, but yet is limited. The one thing that we wish would pass, but that we also wish we could get back. And for those of us who, who have in faith believed upon Jesus for our salvation, time is an even more interesting concept for us because we understand time in the temporal, but also as it is enclosed by the eternal." 2. "Paul is delivering a call to action to everyone who calls themselves a believer in Jesus. Go back and look at what he says in verse 11. Besides this, you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake, from sleep. So it's time to wake up from sleep. And that term sleep, he uses it metaphorically to symbolize a life that is basically one of moral carelessness and laxity." [05:12] (26 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "It's time to wake up. It's time for us as believers to snap into the reality that there are so many lost people around us desperately hopeless in their sin and we have a limited amount of time to get the good news of the gospel to them that will save, their souls from an eternity in hell." 4. "For some of you, I think it's time for you to give your life to Jesus. A lot of you have been here over the past year and I think there's several of you that come into this place and as soon as you walk into the doors, the conviction of the Spirit of God sets in upon your heart. You sit in this place week in and week out and you fight it off because you're afraid of what somebody might think, you're afraid of what somebody might say, you're afraid of the rejection, that may come from friends and family members, but you know the love and the grace and the mercy and the forgiveness of Jesus is calling you into relationship with Him." 5. "When Christ returns, saints, that opportunity is gone. And I would hate to leave anything left on the table because I just slept through my time that I was here. We've got too many, I feel like we've got too many sleepy saints. We've got too many comfortable Christians coasting through our lives unburdened by the moral depravity and the lost souls that we see around us." 6. "For those of us who have been called to Christ and salvation, listen, our call to Christ results in a call from Christ to go and to witness and to testify and to proclaim of His goodness and to impact the world that's around us. He calls us to action, not to apathy. And I think that's something that the church so desperately needs to be reminded of because I see in our time, I see in the generation that's a little bit older than you, I see a lot of apathy towards the world where the people of God just don't care." 7. "While we're sleeping in, souls are slipping away. And that should grip us, men and women of God. It should grip our hearts to move into action regardless of, whether we feel like we're sufficient enough, regardless of whether we feel like we're adequate enough, regardless of if it makes any logical sense to us whatsoever. It's time to wake up. It's time to snap out of it." [14:09] (33 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

8. "Don't sacrifice the holy, righteous, setting apart that you have been given in Jesus for the filth of this world. And let's double down on it. Damaging the witness of who you claim to live for in the process. How are we going to reach the world around us if we look no different than it?" 9. "Stop blending and start beaming, which is the last part of Paul's challenge. It's time to put on light. Paul's third tier to the challenge that he's given is for us to put on light. And he frames up this point a few different ways. You go back in the text and take a look. He says in verse 12, The night is far gone, the day is at hand, so then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light." 10. "When we put on the majestic beauty of the light of Jesus, there will be those who can't help but want to go and seek it out. Sure, there's going to be plenty that don't care. It's not going to matter to them. They're not going to be impressed by it. But there are going to be those that will say, see the light and say, wow, what is that? I've never seen anything so magnificent. I didn't know such a life could exist. I didn't know such hope could be found. I didn't know such joy could be shared in. I didn't know such purpose could be lived out." [31:30] (50 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
