The essence of prayer is not about asking for our desires but aligning our hearts with God's will. When our prayers are infused with the Spirit of God, they become powerful and effective. This alignment requires inward purity and obedience, as God often changes us before He changes our circumstances. [00:03:27]

Before God moves outwardly and brings Revival, brings Awakening, God change my home. Do you ever pray that? Change my work environment, change this, change that. Often He's going to change you first. See, from that Fire Within, that's how the fire goes without. [00:04:26]

Obedience is crucial in our relationship with God. Disobedience can hinder our prayers, but when we obey, we align ourselves with God's will, allowing our prayers to be powerful and effective. Moses obeyed God, David obeyed, Elisha obeyed, Kings obeyed, priests obeyed, prophets obeyed, and God would move on their behalf. [00:10:03]

Abiding in Christ means living in His presence and allowing His word to penetrate our hearts. This relationship changes our desires and aligns them with God's purposes, transforming our prayer life from self-focused to God-focused. When you stand with Christ, when you live with Christ, your thoughts actually change. [00:14:27]

The more you get into God with worship and prayer and reading His word, the hungrier you become. The more you remove yourself from that, you'll begin to starve to death spiritually. It's funny, one of the Old Testament prophets said that God said a famine is coming, not a famine of food or water but of hearing of the word of God. [00:18:40]

Holiness is about living a life set apart for God, free from the influences of the world. As we pursue holiness, we become vessels through which God can work powerfully, impacting our lives and communities. The number one attribute given to God is not love; it's holiness. Our God is a holy God. [00:36:29]

Prayer is the engine that drives our spiritual lives. It is in the prayer closet that we load up on God's power and prepare to face the world. Prayer is where we pull down strongholds and align ourselves with God's purposes. As we commit to being a praying church, we position ourselves to see God move mightily in our lives and communities. [00:39:28]

A broken and contrite heart is one that God cannot ignore, and humility is demonstrated through our actions. Holiness is not about adhering to a set of rules but living a life set apart for God, free from the influences of the world. As we pursue holiness, we become vessels through which God can work powerfully. [00:26:32]

If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. See, if I'm abiding in Christ, I'm not going to ask for that Lamborghini. If I'm abiding in Christ, in His word, I don't want the 8,000-foot house on the Hills. [00:14:27]

The Bible often attributes or actually links Jesus with things like a rock and a strong tower, a fortress, a buckler, a shield, a Sabbath rest, an alpha and omega, a lion, a conquering King who will come back with a sword coming out of His mouth to judge the Nations. [00:59:32]

Every great Revival or Spiritual Awakening in history has come and answered to sincere prayers from believers who have broken, humble, cleansed, and believing hearts. Most of us see the handwriting on the wall with where the nation's going unless you've been in a coma for 30 years. [00:26:32]

The more you obey Him, the more you're filled with His Spirit, the more your prayers will shift. And then, of course, it goes on to say we know that He hears us and whatever we ask, our petitions, our desires that He puts in our hearts, He yearns for us to lay hold of His promises and to fully trust Him. [00:12:12]
