51s
“```So, if we're not careful, we'll get to the place where we're so fighting to live everyday life and we're battling so against everybody. We feel like it's against us. That we'll get to a place that we forget that we have one responsibility. That responsibility is not to win the war. Because the battle is greater than we are. The ministry is not the battle. The battles that keep us out of the ministry The ministry is that we might boldly proclaim Christ. This is where he talks about that he's an ambassador Listen, we've got a responsibility to to proclaim Christ. Christ has already secured the victory.”
53s
“The battle's already been won. We just think the battle that we're in is what's raging. This just simply to keep us from a place where we can depend upon him, a place where we can stand for him because it wants to keep us out of a place but we can speak for him. We lose our desire to depend upon him. We will not stand for him. And if we do not stand for him, we have no voice for him and if we have no voice for him, how shall they hear? Without a preacher. You realize everyone of us have a responsibility to share the gospel”
66s
“you know, David didn't pop his suspender straps. David said, no, let me tell you what god's done. Amen. Yes, sir. And he brought up what god had done in other battles he fought. Amen. Listen to me. There's gotta be a defined dependence. He said, be strong in the lord that our power is in his might and then our protection is in his armor. Now, he said, put on the whole armor but listen, just like in David's life, listen, David couldn't just put on any armor. He couldn't put on the armor of Saul. He said, I've not proven these things. He put them aside because he'd not proven them, and what god had given him as armor was just a little old sling that god had proven in his life, and god had given him that armor and that's why that armor worked and listen though it seemed insufficient as considering the circumstances. Listen, I'm telling you, the armor that's listed in our text here is not just any armor. It's got to be the armor of god.”
62s
“He tells us we better pay attention to who our enemy is. Right. Because if we don't pay attention to who our enemy is, we won't be found in the place that they won't be any place of declaration because we we won't be in a place of prayer because we'll be so bitter at everybody. We won't even pray for other saints. Right. Much less have a burden for sinners. Right. Let me tell you what this battle do. If we're not careful, what this struggle, what this strife will do, it'll keep us so bitter at one another. Yeah. That we're not of use to anybody. Not ourselves, not our families, not our coworkers. It shows up in our leadership. It shows up in our labor and it shows up in our home. And if we're not careful and all we do is put faces on this battle, it'll make us to where we're no help to ourselves and we're no help to anybody else because we're so bitter. Amen.”
