58s
“``There are people all around us who they may not know how to ask the question, and that's perfectly alright, but their soul, I promise you, their soul is already searching for the answer. Right. They're just turning to the wrong wrong things and the wrong addictions, going to the wrong people or or wrong places for that answer. Somebody at work is asking, what do I do with all of this stress that is in my life? Somebody in your family is asking, what do I do with this void, this emptiness that is inside of me? Somebody in your neighborhood is asking, is there more to life than this? And the church has the answer. Right. You have the answer. You know the answer. Amen? Right. Hallelujah.”
47s
“And wisdom understands that people are not projects or numbers, but they are lost souls. Right. And the reason you want to get them here is not this this isn't a pyramid scheme. Nobody here gets paid for bringing people to church. It done it doesn't work like that. You bring them to church because the Lord says it. And when they come to church, they'll come down to an altar and they'll get burdens lifted. Their life will be changed. This is the reason we reach out to our community, to our friends, to our families, because we want them to experience the same thing we've experienced. Amen? Amen.”
37s
“When Nathaniel questioned Philip, Philip did not argue. He simply invited him by saying, come and see. Amen. Church, sometimes outreach is that simple. It absolutely is that simple. You don't have to overcomplicate things. You don't have to try to think it all through and come up with with every possible rebuttal if if somebody questions this or ask this or don't worry about that. Just trust in God. Right. Mighty God. You you you I mean, it's as simple as saying, come and see.”
36s
“All of them came to that same question. What do I do? What must I do? What do I do now? If you've ever wondered what is the point of outreach, what is the point of knocking on doors, what is the point of telling my friends and family? They they know I go to church on Sunday. You know? What is the point of telling them? This question that is asked in these three different passages, this question is why outreach matters.”
